## Hartford Courant Reviews in United States

### *---- "Terrible access"
The app keeps telling me I’ve reached my “ limit” of free articles but I’m a subscriber! Very frustrating.
-- Chrisy802, 2026-09-06

### ***-- "Not Independent"
While I enjoy picking up on the local news, the paper in general is never unbiased in its reporting - if there is a liberal slant, or anti-conservative slant, or an anti-Trump narrative, the Courant will search long and hard to not just find it, but will make it the feature of the report. The Hartford Courant lost its “independent reporting” decades ago…. It’s clear to see what side of its bread gets the butter.
-- Independent News -NOT!, 2026-08-31

### ***-- "All the News That Fits Our Print!"
Not sure why I continue to hope for more balanced, objective news reporting. So, I read the more likely data driven articles like business, sports, and the human interest stories, but pick out the likely objective pieces in US and international news.
-- Rudibadker, 2026-07-03

### ***** "Great app & newspaper"
For me the app works great and lets me read my favorite source of local Connecticut and national news with honest reporting.
-- Notnam, 2026-06-10

### *---- "Horrible App"
Horrible experience. Non stop adds even though I turned them off in the app. Terrible set up for a news site. Emails too for that matter. Really disappointed.
-- hehv862€€h, 2026-05-18

### ***** "Local news"
Great local news. I live out of state
-- hhestn-als, 2026-04-07

### ***-- "Games"
You've got a problem with an popup at startup. "Want to play games?" Is offered with no option but to "continue". Either add an x out or loose the offer. Or fix your security ifbit's a hack.
-- PCsrCT, 2026-03-02

### *---- "Absolutely awful experience"
I downloaded this app 13 hours ago. I have received over 45 push notifications. 45. That’s a push notifications every 15-20 minutes. If someone texted me like that I would block them. Mind you, all I have turned on for notifications is News, Breaking News, and Business. And I turned off Business about 3 hours ago. At least 8 of these 45 notifications have been sports related, and you’ll note that sports is not one of the notifs I have on - I checked at least 3 times throughout the day to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake or that they hadn’t been turned on. Sports was never on. What an absolute nightmare. Immediate delete. There’s other sources.
-- BradMacd, 2025-12-28

### *---- "New app not tested -go figure"
I was forced to down load the new version of the Hartford Courant App this morning and won’t let you scroll the paper just scroll each story. Does anyone test this stuff granted, I have an unusual phone…IPhone
-- Gdyrpen, 2025-11-19

### *---- "Why all the updates"
Can’t you get it right the first time?
-- Mikekuhns, 2025-08-16
