Annoyed.
I chose the monthly option and was charged the yearly option. Now I’m stuck with this for a year. Should be illegal
Can login with safari screentime restrictions
I was stuck for half an hour trying to login to my daughters iPad. I just figured out the issue and thought this might be best to put to the technical or dev team to implement. My daughter’s iPad has safari limited to only approved websites. I thought I wonder if the login button is trying to talk to a website in the backend to login. I turned off only approved websites and it logged instantly. My suggestion is to implement some sort of visual feedback for the user to indicate it’s querying a website in the backends for login. Once logged in I enabled her approved only websites and streaming worked
Repetitive content
Love the app and the content on there. I have an Ad subscription and understand that there will be ads but I have seen the same 4 ads about 300 times since getting the app this week. Mix up the promotional content a little bit.

Max Is Amazing-Even With All The Adds
Max has a strong selection of shows and movies, from HBO classics to solid new releases and originals. The app is smooth, easy to use, and the quality’s always reliable. Even with the ad-supported plan, it’s a great experience—just one or two short ads that don’t interrupt too much. Definitely one of the better streaming services out there.
$7 with adds!
