I used the Sony headphone connect app years ago for my XM4’s. After updating to the latest iOS and changing to a new phone, I couldn’t find the app anymore. I downloaded this due to the very similar logo and until the paywall didn’t realize this was a different companies app. 
The new Sony app is just called music center. Hope this helps others.
