I practice listening audiobooks while driving my car. I thought this could be a great opportunity how to spend this time with added value, hence I agreed to the offer and bought 3 month subscription. Unfortunately, very soon I realized that the app does not work well with Apple CarPlay, the system millions of people use on road, including me. There are so many bugs that the listening experience becomes frustrating and cumbersome, spending more time trying to make it work properly rather doing what I really paid for - listening and learning. So after my paid 3 months will be over, I am cancelling this subscription. Probably some time in the future, when these bugs are fixed I might reconsider but for now this app is totally not worth the money (especially the full subscription fee they plan to ask after the first month sales offer they gave me currently), at least for me.

This app is created to scam money. You get an offer - you subscribe, pay. Right after patment - you get additional subscription offer where if you are not careful - with one click you pay for services you don't need. And you can't get money back or exchange this service

I canceled all subscription, but still they trying to charge me.

If you want to even use this app you have to buy a subscription. Every other click i get a pop-up which says: “Wow! Here is a special deal for you” or “We have a gift for you” which is just a subscription plan. This is pay-to-win.

App itself is okay-ish, so the 2 stars. Otherwise it would be zero. Really frustrating subscription process. Basically, downloaded the app to try it, most likely subscribed to some kind of trial (it was a month ago). Tried it and forgot about it. Today got charged 20€ monthly fee. Took me some 10 minutes to figure out where to even cancel this thing! How about heads up - “Hey, you’re about to transition to paid subscription” or something! I mean 20+€ for this is a lot. It wasn’t even visible on my subscriptions list in my apple account.

First of all, they got me with their quiz, where they charge you 9-15 Euros per click, a fact that is not obvious, however explained in their TOS, which is quite hidden. I managed to appeal this, and they returned the money, but not fully. I was so frustrated that I didn’t want to use the app because I felt abused, even though I bought a monthly subscription. I just canceled it on the same day to make sure I don’t forget to cancel it. Luckily, I felt that the app is super fishy, so I also blocked it from future payments. And guess what? Exactly a month after, they started to try to charge me again for a monthly subscription, which I canceled on the same day. Since the payments were blocked, they didn’t manage to charge me, but the fact that I started having failed attempts in my bank account was pretty annoying, so I reached out to support asking them to stop charging. Apparently, in order to cancel the subscription, it’s not enough to just cancel it. You are also supposed to take a mandatory survey; otherwise, the subscription is not canceled, and they will continue to charge you, which is surely also included in their TOS. I work in the tech industry myself, and I haven’t seen a more disgusting way to trick people into unintentional behavior that leads to wasting money. At the end of the day, I didn’t even manage to experience the app, as I respect myself and would not use a product that is abusing its users. The only good part was their support, which was quite fast to reach back and solve some of the problems in a timely manner. I see that I’m not the only one who fell into this trap. So I hope the leadership will read this feedback and strongly reconsider their behavior. I believe that if you build a good product, people will come and ask to take their money. I would most likely use the app if I didn’t have such a mediocre experience and would become a loyal customer who would promote this app in my circles and bring new customers. Instead, I strongly discourage anyone from using this app until the scam behavior is addressed.

Perfect app for getting wiser and expanding knowledge in lots of topics, in shorter time amount. Read or listen the book summary and decide whether you want to continue with full book. Learn and grow and get better.

I cancelled my subscription but was still charged. Wrote an email but didn't get any replies. Avoid them!

This app is after your money. Be careful, because its easy not to notice that you are being charged and tricked into monthly payments and subscriptions.
