This app is supposed to be accessible to anyone but as a vision impaired person who uses large fonts on my devices, the app is close to unusable with large fonts. iOS device have built in accessibility features including allowing apps to use dynamic font sizes for vision impaired people.

Have used this app in the past to check conditions, and symptoms. Medications I have found extremely helpful. It has not always been the most user friendly app, as one other reviewer said you can only select one symptom at a time, when multiple need to be available. And often the simplest of layman’s words can come back with no results, even though I know they exist, I just don’t know the proper medical term, but eventually yes there is the condition and symptoms and follow-up articles which I really enjoy and find interesting to read. But now, I can’t get past the front page because I need to make a profile page. I am not interested in connecting to My Health record as I do not have one, and I do not want one. So instead of pushing Australians to use other sites, namely American ones, that are extremely user friendly and don’t demand profiles before giving help, up your game and permit all users the option of if they want to create a profile. It probably won’t happen, this country believes in destroying all that is good, because it’s simple. That’s how I feel and will more than likely delete this app.

I’ve been using this app for a few years now and I have found it informative and helpful. However, since I installed the latest update (May 2023) I have not been able to open the app beyond the introduction screen. HealthDirect, please fix this.

This App is hopeless. The password validation when creating doesn’t work unless you put a special character at the start of the password. Also, when trying to connect to myGov, it just gets stuck in a loop. It passes me to myGov; I successfully sign in; then it passes back to the App saying I need to authorise, which has been done in the first step I’ve worked as a CIO for large corporations for many years, with over 25 years in the technology industry. It is obvious to me that testing is totally inadequate. For a Federal Govt entity with $300 million of income, this is totally inadequate. I shudder to think how poor your cyber security must be. Is this going to be the next data leak / hack to embarrass the medical industry?? Get it together!

The app doesn’t show in landscape format on an iPad!!

With the new update you are supposed to be able to create a login account. But what actually happens is that once you give your email address it emails you a security code - and by the time that email arrives the app has bumped you off the page so you can’t tell it the security code. I’ve tried this more than once. Hence you can’t create an account!
