Q: Can I order prescriptions on behalf of my children or elderly parents?
A: Yes! You can manage prescriptions for yourself and any dependants.

Q: Will you work with my GP?
A: Yes. All your prescription requests will be sent to and approved by your own GP.

Q: If I already order my prescriptions directly with my GP, do I still need your app?
A: Yes, you can still order from your GP. You can use the app to message your pharmacy directly, and they'll notify you when your medicine is ready to collect or be delivered.

You can also set medicine reminders on the app, so you never forget to take a dose again!

Q: What if my pharmacy is not with Healthera?
A: Any NHS pharmacy on the app is authorised to dispense your prescription medication. We recommend choosing the nearest pharmacy on the map that covers your area for delivery.

If you don’t see any pharmacies nearby, not to worry. There’s a button that tells us to find a pharmacy that can hand deliver to you!

Q: Is my personal information safe?
A: Healthera has gone through a rigorous assurance process with NHS Digital and NHS England and is GDPR compliant.

As others have said, this app is used to send spam notifications to you. Its primary useful function — to send medicine notifications — cannot be untangled from the spam notification as the only options in the notifications settings is to turn off the medicine notifications! This shows the intent. 

Also, this morning the ONLY notification there was a pharmacy one. No sign of a medicine notification. 

It is a shame, as if it was made to be a best in class free medicine notification app, with the added bonus of being able to order medicines, then it would actually be a lot more useful to most people. As it is, I think I will at best just end up disabling ALL notifications from it, and more likely deleting it altogether.

It just sent me a notification to my phone trying to sell me weight loss drugs, even though I have all notifications off and have not indicated that is something I would want.
This is manipulative and inappropriate to send out to people and to not let them opt out of, especially at Christmas, when a lot of people struggle with food. Disgusting marketing

It would be wonderful if this worked as it should. My orders seem to be generated rather erratically. I asked for two months supply in the summer, as I was going away for six weeks. Since then I’ve had two months’ supply of one tablet and only one month’s supply of the other, and received several reminders to re-order when I have already done so (and picked up the tablets).

The app is annoying because I can’t use my tablet in landscape mode, the screen doesn’t rotate. The app also has no clue when my prescriptions are due and sends me lots of annoying notifications at random times. Finally, it’s not particularly intuitive to use, particularly when selecting medications because it doesn’t know what I have actually been prescribed.

My time with the Healthera app has been overall excellent but my only real gripe is the screen is set up in portrait mode.
As an iPad user where it’s set up in its case in landscape mode (it’s unstable in portrait mode) it’s literally a pain in the neck ordering lying on my side!
