Wanted a simple app to track calories and carbs on my watch face. Bought this. It’s so dumbed down I can’t figure out how it works. I’ve used complications for years but this one doesn’t seem to do anything. And in a bizarre twist, in the nutrition section, it seems like you can track anything EXCEPT calories. This app is a quick delete for me. We have completely different ideas around basic UI and functionality

I paid for this app and turns out, the complications don’t show real time updates. I have the settings selected to show the latest totals, but I have to click on the complication and open the app’s dashboard to see true, realtime latest numbers (steps, heart rate, exercise minutes, all of it). I wouldn’t have paid for this app had I known that, because I already had to originally open the complications to see those details, without this app. The reason I purchased this app was to circumvent that step. So basically I paid for nothing? The developer needs to update the app so that it syncs with apple’s latest OS version otherwise it’s just antiquated and not worth the money.

Apple Health is a great addition to iOS, but it’s clumsy to use for anything more than steps, sleep, etc. For those of us who need to easily input other data like headaches or other symptoms HealthFace is a godsend.

Used to work perfect. Apparently doesn’t work with watchOS 10, which is a shame. I love the widgets and simplicity, but I can’t recommend this app until it’s fixed.

I am pretty conflicted though. The widgets are still incredibly responsive and I get value out of having them on my home screen. May just learn to live without the complications, but it is pretty frustrating to have paid for an app that appears to be out of development now.

I got this app solely for the Apple Watch complication. I am using the chronograph watch face and expected to see the total calories burned displayed in a corner complication. Unfortunately all I got was a progress bar and an icon. The progress bar is nice but instead of the icon, it would have made much more sense to display the actual calorie count. I know some people prefer minimalism, but an option to display the number would have been nice.

• Ability to change to US Units (in, miles, oz, etc).. I’m tired of seeing mL for my water tracker..

•Ability to add to a category through the widget instead of just opening the app when I click on it.

Even worse: when I try to configure a new complication, the app crashes. I’m running the latest version of everything, OS-wise. This is the developer’s fault, plain and simple. I’ve been using this app for years. What a mess.

Thank you for giving me complications for my new Apple Watch that Apple can’t give me. I like to have calories consumed and calories burned visible on demand.

Health Face even went above and beyond and gave me total calories burned, something Apple health can’t even show me on its own in its own app (you have to add it yourself). 

Highly recommended if you’d like to track Apple health data on your Apple Watch.

Until Apple gets it together and gives real Health app options on the watch, this is a quick way to track some data. 

Biggest issue: the goals and complication options have to be set for each complication type separately. Decide you would rather have a goal of 128 Oz of water instead for 100? You’ll have to manually update that for each complication type you currently use or may want to use.
