## Healthy Weight Loss Description
Lose weight thanks to a conscious approach to your daily food intake and nutrition together with Welly!

The experienced crew of psychologists, nutritionists and personal coaches have developed a unique program for managing your eating habits and nutrition and realized it in the Welly app.

APP TECHNOLOGY
 Trying to lose weight and stressed out? Can’t figure out why you can’t shed the pounds even after dieting?

Welly will help you understand yourself better with reflection and personal recommendations for relieving stress. The app will help you pinpoint your problem areas and come up with optimal solutions in order to combat extra weight. 

METHODOLOGY
In the app there are two principal methods connected to each other:
- Behavioral change. Welly helps you change your lifestyle and gives you step-by-step guidance to form healthy food habits.
- Portion method. It suggests consuming vegetables, carbohydrates, proteins and fats in particular portions. For instance, a fistful of veggies, a handful of carbohydrates, a palm of proteins and a thumb of fats.

FUNCTIONALITY
- 8-week personal plan of your daily diet for healthy weight loss.
- Your own menu made up from products in your fridge or food you can easily buy in any store in order to lose weight in a healthy way.
- Control the consumption of veggies, carbohydrates, proteins and fats in each portion to enrich your body with good microorganisms.
- Recommendations for a portion size and other components of a well-balanced diet.
- Water tracker that helps control the water balance in your body within a day.
- Step tracker that helps monitor your muscle toning exercises within a day.
- Academy – videos, articles and stories that help you learn more about healthy eating and get into balanced diet culture.

Welly uses Apple Health to automatically import your steps and give you accurate feedback and advice.

Welly knows everything about step-by-step weight loss and habit formation. You know everything about yourself. Together with Welly, you will achieve all desired results.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

If you choose a PREMIUM subscription in the app:

- Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase

- Subscription will be renewed automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

- Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period and identify the cost of the renewal

- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user’s account settings after purchase

This app will be impossible to use unless you cook all of your own foods and eat no processed foods so it’s not gonna work for most overweight people.

I really love the app. But it’s missing some features. 
1. It would be better to have a calendar or chart of the past progress and a “today” button instead of choosing today’s date manually. 
2. I have to exit the app to refresh the Today page. 
3. It would be really nice to add a carnival diet to the options or at least keto.

This app just isn’t for me.  I don’t enter the data daily like I should and I find myself getting annoyed with the notifications.  Now I’m trying to cancel the subscription, but I don’t readily see an option on the app or in settings to do this. 

Welly, you find someone on day.  It’s just not me.

### ***-- "A little diet culture-ish but okay"
I downloaded Welly because I was interested in a nutrition tracker that didn’t count calories and where I didn’t have to take pictures of everything. The hand-based portion tracking in Welly is great. But I don’t love the emphasis on weight loss and overly specific recommendations. For example, I’m not going to pick meat out of a sandwich or mixed dish like curry or chili in order to “eat proteins first.” And while calorie trackers usually allow some customization for nutrition/hydration goals (being able to change macro ratios, for example), that doesn’t seem to be possible in Welly. (The protein amount recommended seems significant, especially given how few foods “count” as proteins in the app.)  I wish it were a little easier to find tools that help with gentle nutrition, but it’s still kind of hard. :/

I canceled the very next day I signed up. There’s absolutely nothing on this app that you can’t learn yourself for free. Speaking of free, they charged my card as soon as I signed up; what happened to the free 7 day trial?! Even when I canceled (the very next day) I never got a refund. Just tells you how absolutely bogus this app really is. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! THEY ARE JUST CROOKS TRYING TO MAKE A DIME! 🤬🤬🤬🤬
