First, put your finger on the phone's camera lens.
Secondly, ensure the fingertip fully covers the camera lens and do not press too much.
Finally, keep still until the measuring process ends.

The heart rate monitor app may make the LED flash very hot.

Advertising for this app indicates that it can be used to take your blood pressure. I see no such ability. The health app on my iPhone along with my Apple Watch monitors my heart rate. I can I put my blood pressure in th health app just like in your app. The only reason someone can find your app useful is if they don’t have a smartwatch that can monitor everything.
