## Heartspring Journal Description
Understand your emotions, remember how you felt, and build lasting self-awareness with Heartspring, the journal that reads between the lines. Write freely or record a video, and Heartspring reveals the emotions hidden in your words. No mood grids. No picking from a list. Just share what's on your mind, and discover what you're actually feeling.

Share Your Story, Discover Your Emotions
Open Heartspring, start writing or press record, and let your thoughts flow. Type about your day, vent about what's bothering you, or talk through what happened, however you express yourself best. Heartspring surfaces the emotions present in your words from a vocabulary of nearly 100. The feelings you couldn't name? Heartspring names them for you.

Your Emotions, Revealed
Heartspring shows you the emotions underneath. Not just "happy" or "sad," but the real nuance: resentment buried under frustration, hope hiding behind anxiety, tenderness you almost missed. Your entries are organized by the topics you shared and how each one made you feel.

Reflection Prompts That Go Deeper
Add the Heartspring widget to your Home Screen and your emotions will find you.New reflection prompt appear based on what you shared and the feelings we surfaced. Not "how are you feeling today?" but a question only your journal could ask, because it actually knows.

Build Your Emotional Memory
We remember what we did. We rarely remember how we felt. Every entry builds a searchable emotional history, a living record of your inner life. Look back and see when certain emotions show up, what triggers them, and how they evolve. This is emotional intelligence, built one entry at a time.

Journal Your Way
Write, record video, or add photos, whatever feels right. Track your streak, revisit past entries, and watch your self-awareness grow.

Membership
With the Heartspring Membership, unlock the full power of your emotional journey. Record video journal entries to capture the full depth of how you feel, search your entire journal by emotion, topic, or keyword, and access your complete emotion history to discover long-term patterns. Enrich your entries with tags like weather and location for added context, and add photos to capture the moment visually.

## Heartspring Journal Reviews in United States

### ***** "so excited"
i’ve been waiting for something like this to come about. i always find it easier to communicate feelings verbally!! can’t wait to see how this goes.
-- maddiefair7:), 2025-01-05

### ****- "Cuts off your journal"
I really enjoy this app and would definitely recommend it! The only issue that I’ve had with it so far that it always seems to cut off the last ten or so seconds of my journal whenever it uses AI to crop it even though I’m still talking. If this would be fixed I would rate it a 5/5 :)
-- EBradley33, 2025-01-04

### *---- "Genuinely don’t bother"
You can’t pause the video, can’t switch apps for a sec or it’ll COMPLETELY reset, can’t even film another part, the cherry on top is that you can only film another part video once a day.
-- Mariwari555, 2025-01-04

### *---- "Couldn’t even start the process"
Wouldn’t let me use the app if I didn’t have Face ID or Touch ID to log in. :/ my Face ID is broken at the moment, so I have no way to even try the app out.
-- ginbo31, 2025-01-04

### ****- "Pretty good"
Just started using this app and so far am really liking the actual purpose of this app. Two notes i have on it is that if you miss a day you can’t journal about it the after to the corresponding date like if I’m busy all day and want to journal about my day at 12am it would be counted as the next day and there’s no way to edit that + it not letting you add/remove lines when correcting spelling/text since it unnecessarily separates sentences.
-- Goodly awesome Love it!, 2025-01-03

### **--- "A few problems…"
I love this app, it’s so functional and even without a subscription it’s perfect to use daily. My New Year’s resolution has been to record one video a day. Unfortunately, I’m not off to a great start. I recorded a video today and yesterday in detail talking about my day and the video would not save. I had to leave the app and re-record which can be annoying. I would love to see this issue get resolved. Another issue I ran into was when pressing the get help button on the app it just kicks me out of the app entirely. A few bugs that can hopefully be fixed because I really do love the concept of this app!! 💗
-- ahhwuebrvhduebwbw, 2025-01-03

### ***** "Absolutely Obsessed"
This is my favorite app ever. It is more than just a video diary. It writes down everything you say and then creates a highlight of something you said during your diary. It is so genius and easy to use and I can’t wait to look back on all my entries. So brilliant. Obsessed.
-- Hale190, 2025-01-02

### **--- "More journal entries"
I love the app but honestly if I’m paying I should definitely be able to journal as many times I need to per day is it anyway we can update this is not i don’t see the point in paying
-- RondaDP, 2025-01-01

### *---- "Recording failure"
Each time I hit record it doesn’t record for up to 3 seconds and I’m not sure why this is happening
-- jahairaedos, 2025-01-01

### ***-- "Me or Talkbook?😓"
I’m putting three stars because I’m not completely sure if it’s just my phone bugging or the app. But the issue is, whenever I record, the app disconnects from my Airpod’s and uses the phone mic—which I obviously don’t want. Also I’d appreciate just a TAD BIT if the video could save or pause itself whenever it crashes or I accidentally swipe to control center. THANKSSSSS<333
