## Hitzeindex Description
Das erste "Hitzeindex" Werkzeug, das die Lans P. Rothfusz-Gleichung verwendet.

[Beschreibung]
Der Hitzeindex ist ein Index, der Lufttemperatur und relative Luftfeuchtigkeit in schattierten Bereichen kombiniert, dh das Gefühl von "heiß" oder "kalt", das gefühlt wird. Dies ist nicht nur auf die Lufttemperatur zurückzuführen, sondern auch auf andere Umgebungsbedingungen wie Luftfeuchtigkeit und Wind.

Der Hitzeindex wurde 1979 von Robert G. Steadman entwickelt.
Die Berechnung des Hitzeindex ist eine Verfeinerung eines Ergebnisses, das durch eine von Lans P. Rothfusz durchgeführte multiple Regressionsanalyse erhalten und in einem technischen Anhang des Nationalen Wetterdienstes (NWS) von 1990 (SR 90-23) beschrieben wurde.

Der Hitzeindex ist auch als "Filzlufttemperatur", "scheinbare Temperatur", "echtes Gefühl" oder "Gefühl wie" bekannt.
Die Luftfeuchtigkeit kann das Wärmegefühl erhöhen, während der Wind das Kältegefühl erhöhen kann.
Wenn beispielsweise die Temperatur 32°C (90°F) bei 70% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit beträgt, beträgt der Hitzeindex 41°C (106°F).
