## HEAVYPAINT Reviews in United States

### ***-- "I love it, but it is insanely laggy."
I really love the style of brushes and the color options, but it is super buggy for me. I have had to restart the app multiple times due to it freezing or extreme input delay especially for the undo button. It is just a bit frustrating to the point of closing the app entirely when I am trying to complete a painting. Excellent program, just needs to fix some issues.
-- VivixBell, 2025-04-21

### *---- "Can’t restore"
It doesn’t allow me to restore easily enough. I deleted it and now I want it back on my phone, but I can’t do it. I looked at the FAQs, but they didn’t help.
-- DogPig69, 2025-03-31

### ***** "Perfect"
To me this is way better than procreate and photoshop, the best expressive art program yet imo
-- Romanticpunkci, 2025-03-03

### ***-- "Great app but crashing"
I love this app. It it keeps crashing and losing a few minutes of work :(
-- Clovev, 2025-02-26

### ***-- "Great app!! But…."
I’m in love with the brushes this app is amazing, ive been using this since it was webby paint! The only issue I’m having currently is that I paid to use all the brushes and I just clicked on the app and it is trying to make me buy it again, I tried to restore purchases but nah. If I could get my purchases restored this app would be amazing.

### ***** "Favorite painting app"
This is my favorite painting app, but you have to approach with an open mind and some patience. This app is constantly being updated server-side by one guy, so things randomly don’t work correctly and new bugs pop up, but they’re fixed very quickly with new iterations. Painting-wise, there are tons of options, and I’m still experimenting and finding new things, and i have been using this for several months. The dedication and responsiveness from the dev is really great, and the community for this app is awesome.

### ****- "Good App! Small Bugs.."
Heavy Paint is such a fun drawing app to work with and i love it so much.. but there are some annoying bugs in it. Especially on Ipad whenever you try to do the gesture for undo with your fingers the stroke doesn’t always undo and it’s pretty aggravating. Other than that it’s a great app! :]

### *---- "I want to love it but it keeps crashing"
I want to love it but the gallery keeps crashing, finished canvases wildly corrupted with no notice. Happens every time I use it, highly disappointing
-- o tommy boy, 2024-10-27

### *---- "disappointing upgrade"
“HeavyPaint Classic” was a lazy port to ios from desktop and ipadOS. It lacked features that would make it mobile-friendly while still charging users $9.99. Instead of updating HeavyPaint Classic with the necessary features to make it more mobile-friendly, the dev decided to make a new app with those mobile-friendly features then charge his users for it again. NO upgrade options for people who already own HeavyPaint Classic. And NO new features other than a facelift for mobile. If you already own HeavyPaint Classic, skip this one.
-- SickOfPayingTwice, 2024-10-14

### ***** "Refreshing Digital Art Experience"
I want to preface this review by saying I’ve had the Heavypaint app on my desktop computer for a while and I finally decided to get it on my iPad. I love how simple and easy to use the interface is, and the learning curve is minimal. It’s also a great app for learning some of the fundamentals of both digital and traditional art in the sense that it restricts the amount of extra fluff you have to deal with. I think the biggest appeal of this app is actually that it’s such a pared-down experience. All of the focus is on the process rather than the tool. It made me love digital art again. You’ve done something great with this!
