The watch app shows the next 2 weeks of Hebrew/Gregorian dates and a full year of Jewish holidays and Parashat HaShavua (Shabbat Torah readings). No frills, no gimmicks, no notifications, and no ads! The Hebrew date and weekly Torah portion can be displayed as transliterations in Sephardic (e.g. "Shabbat" or "Sukkot") or Ashkenazi (e.g. "Shabbos" or "Sukkos") or in Hebrew (e.g. "שַׁבָּת" or "סוּכּוֹת"). Select Israel from the settings if you are based in Israel and want to see the Israeli Jewish holiday & Torah reading schedule. The default setting is for Diaspora (outside of Israel). Hebcal (pronounced HEEB-kal, as in Hebrew calendar) provides Jewish calendar and holiday information. Our mission is to increase awareness of Jewish holidays and to help Jews to be observant of the mitzvot. ## Hebcal Hebrew Calendar Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource115/v4/74/84/aa/7484aadf-0122-ba42-f31c-5394c2c2cd87/859d8ec1-dade-46e2-8fef-a4895103fd47_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_Apple_Watch_Series_6_-_44mm_-_2021-10-11_at_08.49.38.png/368x448.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource125/v4/8d/3c/e7/8d3ce7c7-2834-c49d-f30d-e3bf2bb906aa/6c72c9b4-0dac-4e06-a29e-2d372d6ab3d4_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_Apple_Watch_Series_6_-_44mm_-_2021-10-11_at_08.53.47.png/368x448.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource115/v4/f1/ab/1e/f1ab1e6d-d406-a168-b6fc-80b036699c79/be3e4218-667a-4214-8c4b-7cd82be6df34_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_Apple_Watch_Series_6_-_44mm_-_2021-10-11_at_08.49.55.png/368x448.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/6e/26/0f/6e260f18-c410-338d-1ac7-e1323abd4cac/tns.ftpnkktf.png/368x448.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/6f/cb/95/6fcb9587-fa18-6d8c-a682-1f8b8097e8cd/tns.mljwmlix.png/368x448.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple125/v4/db/f3/20/dbf3200c-c1ee-909c-fdc7-2f5519165ef0/tns.yrcnqyxj.png/368x448.png) ## Hebcal Hebrew Calendar Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 17 (71%) - 4 stars: 3 (13%) - 3 stars: 1 (4%) - 2 stars: 1 (4%) - 1 stars: 2 (8%) ## Hebcal Hebrew Calendar Reviews in United States ### **--- "Does not work anymore!" Worked perfectly on my Apple Watch 7. Just got a new Apple Ultra 2 watch and even though App Store says app is purchased (from before) it does not show up in Apple Watch App to use within watch face options or as app on the watch itself. Very frustrating. Help please! -- Really? It’s 2023!, 2024-08-15 ### *---- "Cannot remove app stuck in my phone" This app is not allowing me to remove it and i cannot access it poor app no support -- terad213, 2024-03-10 ### ****- "I need help!" I installed Hebcal a month ago and was very pleased. I need the Hebrew date everyday since I’m a teacher in a Jewish school. Last week, the wrong date appeared on my watch. When I pressed the app on my watch , it reverted to the whole face description and showed the correct date. But when the IWatch face showed, it was still on the wrong date. I deleted the app from my iPhone and wanted to reinstall Hebcal and was unable to find it on my iPhone. When I go to the App Store it shows that it is purchased. How can I correct this situation? THANK YOU! Your suggestion to go through my watch to the App Store and download it that way worked! -- SassaSue, 2023-03-30 ### ***** "Works great." I find Hebcal very supportive. I like that I can have all my yartzeits together. However I wish they would note the night before as the night to light ON THE CALENDAR ITSELF. If I don’t look ahead or have a reminder set up I could miss the time to light my candle. -- Jmurphy55, 2023-02-23 ### ***** "Works with new OS" With new update, Hebrew date was no longer showing. Now with this app downloaded I have the parsha and Hebrew date - thanks a ton! -- jay-ess-eff, 2022-11-03 ### *---- "Can no longer download" Despite having everything updated, can no longer download. It was giving me hiccups, so I deleted with the plan to download again and it’s not able to be downloaded. :( :( -- luciesquire, 2022-08-31 ### ****- "Candle Lighting?" Great watch app. Add candle lighting and havdalah times for five stars. -- AAAcckkkk Attack, 2022-05-20 [View all Hebcal Hebrew Calendar reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Hebcal Hebrew Calendar Discovered Keywords -
