## Hedgehog Street Description
We want to make sure the hedgehog, the UK’s only spiny mammal, remains a common and familiar part of British life.

We know hedgehogs are in trouble. We’ve lost a third of all our hedgehogs since the millenium.

Hedgehogs love gardens, and fortunately there are around half a million hectares of garden in the UK. We know what hedgehogs need to survive in gardens.

Hedgehogs need access to lots of gardens to survive, so we are encouraging everyone to cooperate.

Our Hedgehog Champions
That’s where you come in. More than 60,000 Hedgehog Champions are registered on this website, forming a vibrant and enthusiastic community. Champions help us make a real difference for hedgehogs all over the country.

## Hedgehog Street Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Rubbish"
Was really excited to use the app to record my sightings but you can’t even log in even after you change your password. The website isn’t much better either! Amateur hour….
-- redandginger18, 2025-08-02

### *---- "Poor"
It’s a terrible website. Dead slow and stop.
-- Cramib, 2025-03-25

### *---- "Can’t even login. Useless app."
No matter what you do you can’t even log into this app. So it is completely and utterly useless. Clearly no quality checking has taken place before publishing it to the App Store.
-- iBuzz82, 2024-08-13

### ***-- "Now broken"
Was always slow to open the main map, but in the last few weeks the lasted iOS seems to have totally broken the app. It’s now totally unusable. 😞
-- CaptainJD, 2023-07-29

### ***** "Save the hedgehogs"
Worth downloading, even if it’s a bit buggy it’s still a brilliant campaign worth fighting for xx
-- hedgehogs4kufe, 2021-10-31

### *---- "The information is the same, whatever postcode I enter"
It’s a very disappointing, misleading site.
It doesn’t matter what postcode I put in, it shows exactly the same information. 63 holes and 354 hedgehogs. I have badgers in my garden, and haven’t seen a hedgehog for 2 years.
-- Stephanotissuperstar, 2021-09-17

### *---- "Map won’t load"
Kept getting error messages on the website so downloaded the app and getting the same error messages. Such an important conservation effort but pointless if the app doesn’t work.
-- Thierry14Henry, 2020-11-04

### ****- "Fantastic app, taken a star off"
It’s a brilliant app, would have given it 5 starts but all the sighting’s I’ve logged since I downloaded the app haven’t appeared on the sightings map. Makes me wonder if the same thing is happening with other users. Very valuable project though!
-- AnnaLi*, 2020-10-03

### *---- "Rubbish"
Will not even start up.
-- Bertibob, 2020-02-08

### ***** "Save the Hedgehogs!"
A great app with some brilliant tips on how we can look after our Hedgehog friends 😁
