I am able to send a request to initiate a text conversation but I am unable to respond and that usually leaves the doctor with no choice but to close the query as I am unable to respond. I only have the option to view my responses in the "chat history" tab. The amount of times I have started conversations and have had them closed with no resolve is mildly frustrating. I would like the doctors to be able to help me in an emergency situation with things to use around the house or prescribe something basic. I cannot always get to the gp in time, and need things for the in between uses. It irks me that they just say consult your doctor if they don't get better(like duh) I thought that was what I was doing. The virtual aspect could be used surely in this day and age. I then feel stupid for using the app as I am none the wiser. Just two things that would improve the app: I’d like to be notified when a doctor responds without having to keep opening the app, and I’d like a way to thank the doctors afterwards. Every time I type a message it sends a new request to chat to a doctor. Your Bot needs personality. I only received a reply after I exit and entered the app. I couldn’t reply to the doctor on his/her message, so I accessed the chat function. Again a new message was initiated. It’s 2 hours later and I think I will make an online booking with my GP and either pay cash for the virtual consultation or leave home during lockdown to visit the doctor.
