Love the app and bikes, but it still has issues around incorrectly charging relocation fee even when parking next to a QR code. Searching for alternative parking caused additional time and charges. Asked for a refund through official channels, but their policy requires a third party account. Until this is addressed I would consider using Anywheel over this.

I’m not sure why this app has negative reviews. Unlike anywheel cycles i was able to sign up for helloride without any major issues. The only problem I encountered was after I added credits to my account the top up screen didn’t disappear and there was no way to close the window. I thought it was a glitch in my end and that the app didn’t process my payment so I topped up again but the screen didn’t go away. I ended up having to close the app and open it up again. That solved the issue and I was able to cycle home no problem. Much cheaper than a cab! Thankfully helloride’s customer service team was able to credit me back the extra top-up I added by mistake.
