Tried to monetise everything recently, they say it’s not for dating but let people “leave gifts to get a reply” or “leave likes”, they pressure you to get their “VIP” subscription, oh and also they can cancel your account for being fake without even asking you to prove your identity …

Can you please unbanned me. I haven’t done anything wrong. I am autistic! “autism”.. I didn’t even realise making so many new accounts was an issue at the time. I had deleted my old accounts since I was finding it hard to use the app with speaking to people. But my friends miss me on it and want me back. I can’t help the way I am! I make mistakes in life. I don’t understand when you delete your account it was an issue on making a new account. To me. Once It’s deleted. It’s gone! It’s gone for ever! So what was the issue on making a new account? It’s not like I had many accounts running at the same time. I don’t understand why I was banned. My user name is so_robertuk. What should’ve been deleted and gone. Since I had deleted my account. It shouldn’t exist!

Well I have not downloaded this but the support team are ridiculous, they suspended my account a while back after I asked if anyone used social media, just a simple question like that can get you suspended, it’s absolutely ridiculous and the other thing is that I had started to make 2 friends, one from USA and another from Japan and I was enjoying the talk until they suspended me for a stupid reason, this is why I have not downloaded it again, because I know they will ban me or something for a reason that’s stupid. Don’t recommend.

£12 per month for a buggy mess, not a great deal. Use a Taiwanese flag in your profile and it won’t show. Use a Taiwanese SIM card in your phone and you can’t join voice rooms and your account will be limited. Full of ads and popups trying to get you to subscribe, buy ‘coins’ buy stupid emotes etc. used to be much better now it’s just a money grab.

However, since the new update today, an annoying music and sounds keep playing every time I open the app so I can’t call or voice note with people anymore as it doesn’t turn off ever and just constantly plays on loop. Up until this point I was having a really good time with the app but this music & sound playing has made the app unusable :(

Well I was recently diagnosed with autism. I was on this app sometime ago and had made some lovely friends on it. The problem was I was finding it hard to communicate. On what to say on live streams towards people. People would say I’m very quiet. Talk rob all the time. Why are you not talking. Because I find it hard on what to say. I also suffer from social anxiety what doesn’t help. Anyway since I was struggling and found it stressful to talk to people on the app. I had decided to delete my account and go on Hiki an autism app. Since I was only just diagnosed with autism. Anyway I was starting to miss my friends I had made on hellotalk and some of my friends I had made from there. That I had added to what’s app and snap. They had told me are you going back on Hellotalk. So with that I had made a new account. Done my profile up and even tried to live stream. But I couldn’t! It wouldn’t allow me too. It was asking to fill some form in to be accepted. That had upset me since I had tried to fill it in. But it was not accepting. So after that I went and watch some live stream’s. I was watching 3 women talking. One woman said oh look a Brit. You look scary looking to me. Laughing her head off. Then her friends were all laughing as well. They tried adding me to the stream. But I didn’t want to go on. Anyway with that and the live stream issue. I felt like what’s the point starting all over again. I just felt rubbish and ended up deleting my account. Anyway I had spoken to one of my friends that’s on hellotalk. She said like people’s posts and comment. To be able to stream. It will unlock it. She was even going to help me with the streaming. But I couldn’t make a new account. I was banned for making to many accounts. Even that I have deleted my old one’s! What makes totally know sense. It’s not like I have multiple accounts still and left them up. Anyway I have emailed hellotalk and told them the full story. They said they had banned my IP and device. For braking the rules on making to many accounts. Again a absolutely stupid rule! I had deleted my old accounts. They are gone! Meaning not there anymore. I’m a new user again. Starting a new account from scratch! I think it’s absolutely horrible the way people have been towards me on this app and how hellotalk have been towards me them selfs. I am autistic. I can’t help the way I have been. The making so many accounts rule is stupid!

unless your looking for inappropriate things, people usually message you for pictures of your outfit (not what you think, i meant in a weird way.) not the apps fault, but the people. Apparently im blocked for “creating too many accounts and deleting” whereas my reason was because i only got bad messages from people, or people stopped messaging.. and i dont remember reading anywhere that “youll have your account blocked if you make tons of accounts or delete a bunch” im not meaning to come out rude its just how i text but you take this however you want. its a perfect app but some people ruin it for others, OR a few other problems.

If the creators of Hello talk read this then that’s cool, I just want to say it’ll be interesting to add the video features into the gallery instead of someone screenshotting a video or copying the link to HelloTalk as it wouldn’t make sense nor would people actually click on it. I’ve on the app for 1 year and I don’t actually have a problem with using the app as the app is great I’ve made some friends and talked to some interesting people when doing a voice room. But all in all a video feature would be amazing ☺️
