HelloTalk: A Disappointing Experience
I've used HelloTalk for a while now, and unfortunately, I have to say that my experience has been far from satisfactory. The platform is inefficient and ineffective for genuine language learning.
One of the main issues is that no one seems to take the conversations seriously. It's frustrating to try and engage in meaningful language exchange when most users are more interested in flirting than actually learning or teaching. The app's environment feels more like a casual chat room than a serious educational tool.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a reliable and productive way to learn a new language, HelloTalk is not the place. The inefficiency of the platform and the frivolous attitude of its users make it a poor choice for anyone serious about language learning.

Hi, I think the concept of this app is amazing but it lacks gender inclusion. If you are an LGBTq+ individual this ain't the best app for you since it only haves binary gender choices.
I'm still testing but I can't say I feel embraced by this community, and I think part of this comes from the app creators who reinforce stereotypical gender roles and interests, which can create feelings of exclusivity. Since we are all different I hope in the future to be possible that all kind of people can learn more in this application.
