I was always very hesitant to schedule a psychiatry appointment and get the help I needed, but my friend recommended me to the hers app, and the process has been easy and helpful! The online process worked so smoothly, the questionnaire for diagnosis was easy, and I was provided with a plethora of information and a diagnosis/prescription within 24 hours! I was always so worried about side effects, but they eased my concerns and had no problem starting with a low dose. If you’re a woman that’s struggled to find the motivation to take care of your health, hers is a perfect solution!

What this service doesn’t advertise is that they’re actually only licensed to provide VERY specific services so them prescribing birth control in relation to PCOS, MDD, or any mental health condition, is out of the question. They are only interested in preventing pregnancy, not caring for women or their best interests.

So you to tell me i don't have to go spend 5 hours at a doctor to tell them my symptoms have them not believe me and not give me the anxiety meds i want and give me some weird drug i don't even wanna take instead i can privately and discreetly get the meds i choose online and shipped to me.. we are on to something here. This is what women need easy access to anxiety and depression treatment without the hassle and embarrassment.. this seems scary to people cause its something never been done before but its not any worse than the way these doctors treat you !! This is saving my life honestly

It’s suuuuper sales oriented which makes it difficult to use as a daily habit forming app…

They advertise $199/mo. compounded weight loss drug, however this is only if you purchase 12 months in advance. They have you put in your credit card information by saying “$0 owed today” and then immediately charge you after a “doctor” approves the script. You have no choice in whether you accept the script. IT WAS ALL OVER MESSAGING, I didn’t even see a doctor face to face AT ALL. I immediately asked for refund and they ignored me for more than 24 hours, at which time it hadn’t even shipped, and then still refused to refund me entirely because 1/4 of the order had been “processed” but not shipped. It shipped HOURS later. They could have stopped it.

They will charge you for months in advance and 2 seconds after you order and try to cancel they won’t do it, they’ll still ship it and say out of safety you cannot return it. BUYER BEWARE!

My issues with this app is you don’t get thorough information nor someone who really cares. The licensed professional hardly asked me anything before giving me five medication options. I asked which she recommended for someone with my medical history but she said they all worked well. Instead I had to google all the medications myself to find out which might work well with my medical history. It ended up not working and I tried another but didn’t work either. I was very frustrated that no one was really guiding me. Perhaps i expected too much but for the service charge I expected a bit more. I ended up wasting over $100 on this app. Now I go to a real doctor in an office. Not that any real doctor will do either but I found one that did seem to take me seriously. Birth control on Nurx has been the only online subscription I do for this stuff. They seem more on top of it. And do answer my questions more thoughtfully.

First day user. App is non responsive. Very slow when I select anything Unusable

The app is great but now I just feel defeated. I took the free assessment test and after telling them all my problems I’ve been denied. Does it mean that I have to many problems or something? I’m confused. I cried after because I can’t exactly afford anything else and I really just need help.

The pcp I go to is at catholic, pro life hospital which means if you work for them.. you have to drop through sooo many loops to be able to have your insurance company to cover any type of birth control, which I filled out the paper work 3 different times that eventually I just lost hope! I worked 3rd, almost 50 hours a week which can be hard to get stuff done during the day and on your days off! I needed birth control not only because I didn’t want anymore kids, seeing I am a year post partum with my 2nd child, who was a 11 lbs.. i certainly didn’t want that chance of having another big baby since I have a high chance of having just as big or even even bigger baby’s. I also have really horrible menstrual cycles and needed something to help with that. So with that being said, I did some online research of how I could get birth control online. I saw the “Hers” app and downloaded it. When I saw this was the easiest, and simplest way of getting birth control at the touch of your fingers, it is just that! No only is it easy, it is quick, all you have to do is answer some questions about your health, and that’s it. They send that information to a MD who reviews it, prescribes it and best of all sends it to your house so you don’t have to leave!! The price I think is fair and affordable seeing a child is way more expensive than what I pay! It took less than a week for me to get my birth control, also didn’t realize that HERS provides so much more than just birth control!! There’s access to antidepressants, weight loss, skin products, daily vitamins.. all at the touch of your fingers!! If health care was this simple I feel like a lot more people would do more for their health!! I recommend everyone to use this, there’s an app for “hims” as well which I think it’s great that they are advocating for men’s health as well! Don’t hesitate and get this app!! It is user friendly and soooo easy to use!
