## Hertfordshire Walks Description
Hertfordshire is a beautiful county that offers some of the most fascinating and picturesque walks in the country, from the rolling Chiltern Hills in the West, to the peaceful rural countryside in the north and the great woodlands and canals throughout.

Our simple to use GPS-enabled digital guide covers 400 amazing walks of between 1 and 12 miles throughout Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas.

Easily filter the walks by all walks, woodland walks, waterside walks, hill walking, walks with a pub on the route and walks you can reach from a train station. You can also list the walks by distance from you at that time.

Detailed route maps then track your progress as you walk around and they all work offline, meaning no internet or 4G signal required when doing the walks.

Contour information on the maps show you the gradients of the walk to help you judge difficulty.

Send in feedback after each walk through the simple questionnaire so that we can improve the walk information in the app over time.

After your free trial, payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.

Once subscribed, your account will be charged for renewal within the 24-hour period prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions are managed via your iTunes Account. Auto-renew can be turned off in Account Settings after purchase.

## Hertfordshire Walks Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Just what our family needed!"
We wanted to start going for walks as a family but when you google walks all you get is a map. As non-map readers we wasn’t confident to get out and there and try.

This app is perfect for us, yes it’s £15 for a year, but if you’re planning even 2 walks a month it’s great value for money for a family activities, but obviously you could use it every day if you want too!

It gives you 2-3 options per walk with varying lengths, takes you to parking spots, and uses the compass in your phone to display an arrow on the map. You open the app and check you’re still following the path and point your phone to check direction.

You then tick off the walks when you’re done. Thank you!

### *---- "Disappointing"
The only useful aspect of this app is seeing how far away the walks are from your home. All the walks are described as “lovely” but to see more detail you then hit the paywall. Disappointing
-- robgmorgan, 2023-08-15

### *---- "Another subscription app!"
Yet another subscription app. Ridiculous! Just a one of payment like apps used to be? Deleted . Shame.
-- Scottmajestic12, 2023-05-12

### ***** "Great App"
This app is great. The directions via maps to the parking at the start is brilliant and the gps whilst on the walk is super accurate. I’ve always wanted to explore more but was worried about getting lost, trespassing on private land etc but this takes all the worry away. Have done lots of walks already and can’t wait to do more.

### ***** "Will never get lost again!"
Having spent many years following walks from books with various degrees of success and many extra miles of walking through getting lost if the instructions were unclear or out of date, this app is a great find. Although I miss the written commentary about what you might see, the gps linked map means that as soon as you go off track it is obvious and I will never get lost again. A great find.
-- MJoyGn, 2022-09-20

### *---- "Downloaded and deleted in 5 mins"
This might be a great app but you’ll never know unless you take out a subscription. Pointless.
-- Walrusw, 2022-09-17

### ***** "Excellent"
Used for first time today, couldn’t fault the app, very straightforward to use.
-- Tewin Explorer, 2022-04-18

### ***** "Love this App"
I don’t visit Hertfordshire much so it’s great to have a ‘go to’ support to help me find some lovely walks in the area. I really didn’t know there were so many. Thank you.
-- Wild Woman UK, 2022-04-11

### ***** "Loads of walks and so easy"
The app has a great choice of walks and it’s super easy to use. I have been living in Hertfordshire for over 16 years and I was not aware that we have so many beautiful walks. I like the filters on the app. I can easily find a walk with a lovely pub on route or my son’s favourite - woodland walk. It’s very handy that the app takes you to the parking spot too, so no stressing about finding safe place to leave your car. Great idea and well put together.
-- Mallyanna, 2022-04-11

### ***** "Great App"
Fantastic app has some really nice walks I never would have found.
