Latest update? App crashes whilst loading

Just FYI Dev team - Updated app last night. Now crashes upon opening. Restarting iPhone, general local troubleshooting seems to indicate it’s the app. Isolated to Hey You. Potentially a problem with current build? App is great and have used for many years, just trying to advise the team of new issue. Not looking to leave a negative review.

Pretty good but has a flaw

Pretty decent little app but deletes my loyalty cards whenever there’s an update meaning I have to start accruing again. And sometimes logs me out after an update, annoying having to log back in when I’m trying to quickly order a coffee on the go.

Horrible customer service

I’ve used this app for years, and actually quite liked it but the customer service I’ve received over the past few weeks is enough for me to never use it again. My account was hacked and someone spent $325 on my card. I’ve contacted HeyYou numerous times via in-app support, email, live chat and even instagram. I got an email response 3 days later saying they are looking into the issue and then they closed my support ticket and asked for a rating !!! Still haven’t heard back from them despite them being able to post multiple Instagram stories and posts daily. Will be taking this issue to the ACCC.

Terrible developer responses

The app is fine, it does what it says. However, I keep getting alerts suggesting I order my usual, at a Cafe that ceased to exist in any form more than 6 months ago. Finally I contacted the app team, who emailed me twice in two days asking for a screenshot, even though I'd explained it happened randomly. Since then I've sent multiple screenshots and had complete silence, and I'm still getting reminders to order from a phantom Cafe. Infuriating.

Is great for coffee but spam marketing is the worst

This app is great ordering, but the marketing and spam messages are ridiculous. There is no option in the app to turn it off. Here’s an idea…respect your customers time and privacy!

Typeface too small and grey.

I like the convenience of Hey You but it would be nice if they had a way to make the type face bigger for those troublesome characters in their sixties.

Ended up removing this app because it would send me notifications which were basically ads with no easy way to disable them.

Privacy concern. Money taken. No response to complaints.

Used to be a great app until recently. During the recent upgrade in December 2023, accounts got mixed up and users were able to see other users info. My credit card got charged twice without me using it and I immediately logged in to see some other users info but my card details. Immediately raised a complaint with hey you for which I got a response back stating this will be looked into but it is almost 3-4 weeks still no reply after even after multiple emails. I can still see another users personal information on my app and this could be the same for others if affected. Please beware. I am fed up of following up and I will be escalating this to ACCC.
