## HeyRua Reviews in Ireland

### ****- "Compulsory free trial??"
Love the idea of the app and the fact that it’s conversational Irish is brilliant but I can’t progress any further than the first level without opting in for the free trial. I don’t want to opt in and can’t move forward unless I do. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but that’s a really annoying feature, should just be able to ignore it and move on like Duo. Besides that I think it has great potential

### ***** "Iontach ar fad!"
Really enjoying using this app! Far better than Duolingo as it’s teaching you phrases and conversational Irish that you will actually use. There were a few bugs but they were caught and fixed very quickly. Would highly recommend!
-- Robyn.mc, 2026-09-21

### ***** "Excellent"
HeyRua is great , highly recommend 🇮🇪👍
-- Caoimhin Fitzy, 2026-09-20

### *---- "Paywalled"
Irish is a language that is dying. I understand that you need to make some money. Put in some pop up ads or something. Paying a subscription to relearn a dying language seems wrong on so many levels
-- PádraigÉire, 2026-09-20

### ***** "Much better than Duolingo"
This is a deadly app for learning or relearning the Irish
☘️ 🇮🇪 ☘️language, much better than Duolingo the pronunciations are very clear and familiar to the ear which makes all the difference if you are relearning, go raibh maith agat múinteoir at feckin last an Irish 🇮🇪app made by a real life Irish language speaker and teacher. Kind regards Rachel from Wicklow 🙏
