Amazingly well made app which is both a fun and hugely informative way to discover the lives of real people who inhabited Renaissance Florence. I especially enjoyed the ‘crime and punishment’ and ‘master of Florence’ walk which show you tiny fragments of the past hidden on busy tourist streets in the centre. Can’t believe it’s free!
Amazing way to visit the city!
We visited Florence with teenagers and we loved going round as a group, following Giovanni first and then the famous Cosimo. The stories are great - you visit new places and get to see known ones from a new perspective- history but fun!! We’re regular visitors to Florence and this have us a brand new experience. Definitely do it!
Amazing app!
This is the best city tour style app I’ve ever used, I got to see so much of Florence that I wouldn’t had thought to see otherwise. The information given is great, not too much but also the option to have more - and the characters are really interesting!
Pretty cool!
1: it's free
2: it adds fantastic layers of depth to the city. You feel like a detective following faded clues that only you can see.
Excellent work and thanks!
Ps: it was slightly odd to have a lahndan narrator, but we understand that its better than hiring someone to do a 'whatsamatter you? shudupa yo face' voice.
