Yes for $7 its worth it if you don’t feel like paying for a service like Crunchyroll, but HIDIVE yeah I honestly think its not worth the money. There are no dubs the subtitles are not the best and overall the quality of the app is so poor. I do admit that they do have some good shows although not many, but do you really want to use an app that doesn’t work well. Not to mention the Apple TV version of the app straight up doesn’t work at all now that Is garbage. I personally would not recommend the service at all unless you desperate to watch one single show like I am, if that’s not you and you just want a cheap service to watch anime I would seriously reconsider what your choices are. But to the developers of the app, please make your app better actually the whole service entirely and people might use it for once

Have plenty of anime and cheap price Straight to the point. it doesn’t remember what I’ve watching. It doesn’t remember where I was up to. When it does Remember what I was watching It doesn’t let me choose the next episode or show any info about the next episodes. doesn’t have a choice at all you get what you pay for

So for about $75 AUD per year you get what you pay for. As some Anime is not on Crunchy Roll or only dubs in YouTube can be located. Why does an app have a watch list option if you cannot add shows to make it easier as this would make this App more useful in the long run. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Crunchy Roll and the awesome sad loss of Funination got this part right. Why oh why do you only have dubs to start with. It’s a Fracking Joke. Though this App is mainly targeted to a US audience from the looks of it. Having to pause at the start of each episode change the language to Japanese and then play. What a waste. Back to Language Options, need to be able to set it up in settings as a default option. Dubs are just bad really bad. Even Disney gets this right. And yes it is pain when I forget to switch it back though not overly concerned. This App could be better if default language can be set to a prefered language. Using Chrome cast and I can see that a few things were tweaked and works better now. And in a skip feature for intro and outro would be great as well. Overall as I said you get what you pay for.

The UI needs a massive overhaul, the continue to watch section basically doesn’t exist it doesn’t register anything you are watching for some reason and when it does it doesn’t have next episode options and gets stuck on the same episode. Pretty decent anime options overall but could do better with a new UI and better app icon.

This app is 100 times better great job

After the most recent update I no longer have access to anything on the app I have turned my device on and off, reset my internet connect and still it tells me I have a connection issue that has been going on the 2 days now

The new updated app looks and feels so much better now… except shows are now missing subtitles making everything unwatchable (unless you understand Japanese). I will give this updated version of the app 5 stars when they fix this!!

This app is terrible and very hard to use as it lacks skip controls, and the progress bar is too close to the bottom so if you seek, iPhone will think you’re switching apps. This is such terrible UI design and I don’t know how Apple approved this as it almost goes against their HIGS app design language requirement. However they do have some pretty good shows that other competitors don’t have. So that’s good I guess
