Content is severely limited. They literally only have one new show right now in Australia. All the other content is old. The app doesn’t work either a vpn. And it doesn’t save your preferences - need to reset it each time. The user experience is mediocre, unlike Crunchyroll or other big name streaming services, it’s missing key features like skipping intro/outro all that good stuff. The app itself just isn’t too nice to use, I really think it could easily be fixed though. Now to the good part, this app has a selection of a lot of shows that isn’t on current big streaming services such as Netflix (depending on ur location) and Crunchyroll. If you don’t mind paying a few dollars to watch some shows that aren’t other services it’s worth it imo. I still wouldn’t replace Crunchyroll or Netflix with it. There is 0 ease of use. The biggest issue is there is NO way to go back to the list of episodes. You have to go back to search type in the anime then scroll all the way down if you want to backtrack 1 episode. Or if you’re he “continue watching” is bugged and not on the right episode you have to do the same. I do admit that they do have some good shows although not many, but do you really want to use an app that doesn’t work well. Not to mention the Apple TV version of the app straight up doesn’t work at all now that Is garbage. I personally would not recommend the service at all unless you desperate to watch one single show like I am, if that’s not you and you just want a cheap service to watch anime I would seriously reconsider what your choices are. So for about $75 AUD per year you get what you pay for. As some Anime is not on Crunchy Roll or only dubs in YouTube can be located. Why does an app have a watch list option if you cannot add shows to make it easier as this would make this App more useful in the long run. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Crunchy Roll and the awesome sad loss of Funination got this part right. Why oh why do you only have dubs to start with. It’s a Fracking Joke. Though this App is mainly targeted to a US audience from the looks of it. Having to pause at the start of each episode change the language to Japanese and then play. What a waste. Back to Language Options, need to be able to set it up in settings as a default option. Dubs are just bad really bad. Even Disney gets this right. And yes it is pain when I forget to switch it back though not overly concerned. This App could be better if default language can be set to a prefered language. Using Chrome cast and I can see that a few things were tweaked and works better now. And in a skip feature for intro and outro would be great as well.
