App is an overall horrid experience, these shows should just be on other streaming platforms. Trust me and watch the shows on here through “other sources”.

This app is the most brainless designed garbage I've ever had to use. It blows my mind that something made so poorly can even be allowed to have exclusive shows. No feature of the app works. You can't continue watching an episode if you stop. You can't use any of the watchlists and it takes 15 minutes to find the next episode

While it is an improvement from the last app version—as it now keeps track of what you have watched—getting to your watch list or even finding the next episode is not straightforward. These are things that I think should be basic for a streaming platform.

There is a promo on a well known Horror Streaming app where they’ve recently added some anime titles but only the first 4-5 episodes available to get you hooked and then you are given a promo code for HiDive for a free 30day trail to continue watching… a slippery gimmick but I’ll bite. Here’s the problem: the title I was watching on the first app was all dubbed and on HiDive THERE IS NO DUBBED VERSION available. This is a dirty move. Bad business. Bad advertising. Considering the anime is almost 10years old, English dubbed episodes are widely available by this point and there is no reason they can’t be available in the app I was baited into downloading considering the promo lead me to believe I would be able to start and finish watching the series between the two apps. I will be deleting HiDive immediately. One star is too generous of a rating for creating false expectation through dishonest advertising.

I’ve been using the app for a while and have been frustrated trying to watch any series. It would be nice if it had some common features like Crunchyroll like when it cues up the next episode in the series. Right now I have to search for it every time and try to remember where I left off. There are some good shows on here just I find it very frustrating trying to watch them unless I binge them.

Mobile app is fine, but the TV app is THE worst ever. You need to go inside the settings to have access to your history and watchlist Soo stupid its not on the main screen Your recent view doesn't show the title of the episode. That means you can’t recognize just by seen the picture, because the picture is just a snapshot Another problem When you go to your history and listen to that episode. It wont pass to the next. You need to get out of the history. Try to find the show again in the full list of animes, because you can’t see witch one it was in the recent if you watch multiple animes . Super waste of time Just to try fixing this problem trying to find back the serie in the list i put stuff i want to play in my watchlist. Super annoying tv app ever I didn’t really use the mobile version really But i do have my watchlist on the main screen at least Super painful to know i subscribed for a full year and already passed my free week. I would not continue on Hidive for all the annoying stuff. If you fix and clean the tv app And make it way more convenient I will stay for next year, but i will cancel if not fix before my subscription ends which is 11month from now. I want to stay but fix your app

My internet isnt the greatest and the second it lags even a little, something other streaming services would just power through, this app pauses the show every 2 seconds and says “no wifi connection” even when all the connection i lost was a single bar, then it takes like 30 seconds to reload. Its very annoying.

The UI is pretty sucky. It’s not intuitive or easy. Other than that it has the anime that Crunchyroll doesn’t have so that’s good.

I have to use this app as it seems to be the only place for a few shows but the fact that every couple of months I have to re-login on all of my devices is quite annoying the UI half the time does not display the show art or name so I’m left guessing until I find the show I want and the skip button being 30 seconds is almost to much would be better 10-15 seconds fix the User Interface and I probably wouldn’t have any issues with this app

Finding series and episodes that you have started and continuing to watch does not always work as it’s supposed to.
