Hik-Connect - for End user

This app is always freezing and not loading even when internet connection is fine. Doesn’t play sound for all cameras and misses half of the recording; eg skips about an hour at a time and on a few occasions has been when I needed that part of the recording… needs a lot of bug fixes and changes!

Really buggy. Lots of crashes, applications issues. Random error messages in Chinese

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. The Hik-Connect app is an absolute disaster. While the system records on the base device, trying to playback those recordings on your phone is nearly impossible. We’ve spent countless hours troubleshooting, tried at least 10 different ways to make it work, and even involved network technicians—all to no avail. It’s beyond frustrating, especially when playback functionality is one of the core reasons for installing a surveillance system in the first place. To make matters worse, the app is riddled with poor usability, and no amount of tinkering seems to help. Avoid this app at all costs. If you’re considering surveillance options, I’d highly recommend looking into Eufy’s apps instead. They aren’t perfect, but compared to the dumpster fire that is Hik-Connect, they are leagues ahead. Save yourself the headache and go with a system that actually works.

Not good

The app is great. But recent updates have been very poor. How can you use this security cam app when the app is not stable..needless to say our security relies on an app that’s unstable.

The app was working well enough until a week ago. (Maybe with the update?) now the app crashes every time I try to view a notification

there should be freedom to add schedule time like Night time and Day time and set any time, Dome camera has should be default feature ( like go around and come at default location after some time automatic) this should be on and off

This aap is ok but could be more better if there is any aap so we can setup camera on Tv to see live view in other country’s. Overall it’s ok

App was brilliant as you could live stream the video indefinitely now it cuts out at 5 minutes and you have to click to reopen to start live view again making it useless if your wanting to watch for visitors, deliveries or anything happening live that you want to keep an eye on. I invested in this system at my business and home specifically for the continuous live view. Sort it out please!

Please allow full screen mode to work on an external monitor and also to save settings when selecting HD or SD. Thanks!!
