### ****- "Convenient BP tool but where’s HealthKit integration?"
Such a neat way to monitor BP. It’s super inconvenient doing the transitional method and in addition Aktiia helps you easily track the impact of exercise, alcohol etc. to build your self awareness. But seriously where’s the HealthKit integration? Seems pretty backward to have this missing when even the simplest of apps already have this function?!

I have tried numerous blood pressure monitors and gives me the confidence I need with regard to my blood pressure as I understand which foods and situations raise my blood pressure. 
It is simple to set up and calibrate every month. I no longer dred going to the Drs.
The only issue I have when the monitor syncs with the app, I don’t see the results until I close and reopen the App, the data is captured though.

Excellent accuracy……. But occasionally inexplicable 4-hr gaps in data acquisition put down to algorithm forcing non-measurement due to anomalous variations  in blood parameters, whatever that means!  Reports generated are impressive and very easy to produce in seconds and provide detailed statistical analysis of data at daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Hopefully they make a better strap, been using it for 1 month , so far pretty good, just needs some better software, perhaps a nice update may sort this , the only reason when you sync the bracelet , cuff , and phone the initialization fails sometimes. But if you adjust cuff and bracelet seems to sort its self out . So a good piece of kit . Gives you peace of mind , with the current situation we are all in at the moment with our hard working nhs. 
Still using Akitila monitor , which is monitoring my blood pressure, and living a normal life with piece of mind. And my review was answered, I would recommend this piece of kit with anyone who has heart disease. 👍

I have only started to use the Aktiia wristband and find it useful.  It makes me aware of my bp and encouraged me to take action to keep my health.

One issue I have noted however is that even tough I do a desk job, the slightest movement prevents the wristband from taking measurements and I end up with big gaps in my daily results.  Is there an update in the works to remedy this?

Update:
The app doesn’t seem to work in the background.  It only downloads measurements from the bracelet when I open is.

A separate graph for pulse would also be pretty useful.

I have used the cuff multiple times for a reading and it consistently measured 140 over 90. Unfortunately compared to the NHS calibrated 24 hr cuff this was considerably higher. My reading from them was 123/79 for the same period. This discrepancy sadly has put the device in the bin for me.

This monitor has changed my life! The standard blood pressure cuffs always hurt my arm and make my blood pressure rise, so I’ve never felt they have a good assessment of my health. But this device doesn’t hurt! It is so unobtrusive and easy to use and it gives me such valuable information about the daily rhythms and changes in my blood pressure. It’s even easy to see how exercise or some foods influence my system. Five stars definitely!

Got my device a week ago and it’s great. Simple to use and it provides measurements throughout the day, including when I’m asleep. You can also use the cuff periodically and the app records cuff measurements too.

The device is good. App is basic but works. What stops me from recommending this product is 2 things

1) no health app integration. Anyone who would pay a premium to wear this device on a daily basis is someone who cares about knowing information about their health and likely tracks more than their blood pressure. The value of this product isn’t in the data is generates but in insights and trends I can spot by combining my BP data with everything else about my life. It’s my data, so allow me to store it where I want to - and it’s where all other apps store my data, in apple health. With all that YOU want access to my other data. Not fair. And just tells me you don’t fully understand your customer. Please do better

2) micro USB? Now I have to remember to carry this cable when the rest of the world has switched to USBC. This results in my bracelet not being charged when I travel. Please update.

### ***** "Great product overalll but needs a cpl of tweaks"
Have been using this for well over a year now and love it on the whole. I have massive case of white coat -itis so this is perfect. My other half is a surgeon and he also has one on my recommendation and he has regularly checked the readings against a traditional one and it matches up (tends to be slightly higher than traditional cuff but I’d rather it was this way)

My main things I would love to have are ability to look at your trend over 6 months and a year. Month is helpful but longer periods would be really good so you can see trends re exercise/ meds/ other additions which often take longer than a month to really show up

Properly waterproof would be amazing please. When you do that I’ll upgrade

Seems like a good device but no humans to talk to if one has a problem only a bot that preordains the questions. Had it for some months, averages are almost meaningless because of huge gaps in readings. Bracelet is a joke, it needs to be held in place on cheap strap. May I suggest a stick on version. I love this but I’d like the editing of the sleep and wake times to be more flexible as I’m constantly checking and changing these though only by a few minutes. It’d be great to have retroactive editing.
Edit: I’d also appreciate if the app would feed into the Apple Health app as this provides a great deal of information and it’d be great to see the data in context. 
I have also noticed that the Aktiia readings are consistently higher than those I take with my previous cuff.

I am unable to initialise the device. Both the bracelet and cuff are connected but when I try to initialise it, the cuff does not inflate. 

I have tried several times,
I have ensured that the bracelet and cuff are fully charged,
I have uninstalled the app and downloaded a fresh copy,
I have restarted my phone several times. 
But still I can’t get it to work.

This little device is incredible. It’s so small and unobtrusive yet provides so much rich and valuable data for anyone with BP issues. 

It’s already helping me identify peaks and regular rises in BP which otherwise I would have no idea about and start to put in place measure to minimise the rises and improve my overall health. 

I have over 20 years of GP readings and 6 years of OMRON cuff based readings and the difference between the averages of all 3 is less than 5 bpm, well within acceptable limits. 

The thing with Aktiia is it is taking averages constantly giving you a much better overall view of your BP rather than spot readings this giving you a better overall view.

### ****- "It’s good but no way to contact Aktiia"
The bracelet and and app are good, however if you want to get in touch with Aktiia, then you’ll find yourself in an endless loop of FAQs and no actual contact email or number. All I want to know is if there is a breathable band, as the silicon/rubber can get irritating if wearing all the time. Don’t be a company that sells a product and then makes it impossible to contact, that’s frustrating.
