## Hitemp Description
Hitemp is an app which enables smart remote control of heat pump water heaters. It uses email and verification code for registration. In this case, the units will be bound to the app by scanning the bar code on the units. Then users are able to control the units through networks, including startup & shutdown, temperature setting, mode switching and so on. Meanwhile, it can record the operation status of the units constantly, and alarm in time when certain faults happen to the units.

### **--- "Yep, it’s pretty bad."
Can remotely turn the Evoheat off and on, so not completely useless.  But as per other reviews, temp curve is 12 hours out from actual time.   Vacation Mode doesn’t seem to work at all as it just ignores the date to come back on and just stays off.   Evoheat should find a new App to partner with as, given all the reviews that seem to be ignored, the app developers of Hitemp clearly have no idea or just don’t care.

OMG!  It gets worse.  After having to manually switch off Vacation mode, it’s impossible to turn off the electric booster.  I switch it off in the app and watch as 30 seconds later it gets switched back on.  I’ve done it 30 times now and it refuses to stay off.  Aaaarrrrgghhh.

I have tried to set up my heat pump’s WiFi module with the app. Followed the instructions. It simply doesn’t work. Always spins forever on the last screen. 

Oh and it’s probably not a good idea to operate an IoT WiFi module of dubious Chinese origin in your home network to begin with.

App consistently crashes when accessing “Temp Curve” after daylight saving time started..
On/off schedule take a long time to update or times out..
24 hr clock is 12hr out of sync in graphs.

### ****- "Shows Promise"
A really useful app for understanding the operation of my EvoHeat heat pump hot water system, allowing me to make best use of my solar power. There a few bugs that need attention as follows: 
1. The WiFi connection fails at times. Killing and restarting the app resolves the issue. 
2. The time stamps shown on the graphs are in error by 12 hours. (The latest data point is time stamped 12 hours ago) 
3. The labelling on the on/off button is ambiguous. When it shows “Off” it is not clear whether it is the status (and means the unit is stopped), or whether it is the command action that the button will initiate if touched (and means touching the button will turn the unit off). The label is actually the unit status, so it could be better shown as “stopped” and “running”. 
4. The colours in the picture of the tank should be reversed with red at the top and blue at the bottom. Blue typically suggests cool whilst red typically suggests hot.

 New versions appear regularly, so these bugs will likely be fixed soon
