The futher you are in building your timeline the more challenging it becomes. Your chances of winning increases if you can also name the artists and song titles.
- Are you craving to show of your music knowledge? Play HITSTER with the Pro rules or even Expert rules in which you have to know the exact year, artist and song title.

Is HITSTER free?
Yes, HITSTER is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is HITSTER legit?
⚠️ The HITSTER app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The game concept and design are fantastic, and I’d love to give it a full 5-star rating to support the team. However, there’s a persistent “No connection to Spotify” bug that really affects the experience. After around 30 Hitster cards and numerous attempts to reconnect (~20 times), the app stops working entirely.
Just for context, I’m using a Spotify Premium account, and we tested it on two different devices with two separate Premium accounts—same issue each time.
Would love to see this fixed soon!

Tolles Spiel, Schlechte App
Das Spiel ist super, aber nur wenn die App funktioniert. Wir haben in den letzten Tagen mehrfach spielen wollen, aber bei 5 verschiedenen Handys, haben zwei überhaupt keinen Connect zu Spotify hinbekommen, 3 andere mussten nach jedem Song erneut sich mit Spotify verbinden. So macht das wirklich keinen Spaß. Bitte updatet endlich die App. Das ist eure Verantwortung als Anbieter des Spiels, das sonst nicht funktioniert!
Technisch eine Katastrophe
Unbrauchbar! Mit der Premium Version von Spotify verbunden muss man sich nach jedem Lied neu verbinden. Einfach schlecht
Super Spiel - katastrophale App
Die Bedienung ist umständlich und unübersichtlich. Dazu wurde in den anderen Bewertungen schon genug beschrieben. Viel schlimmer ist jedoch, dass die Verbindung zu Spotify nicht zuverlässig ist: ständig bricht die Verbindung ab, oft kommt sie gar nicht erst zustande. Kurzum: wir können die App nicht für das Spiel nutzen, sie ist schlichtweg unbrauchbar

Spielart ist innovativ und gut mit dem Karten spiel kombiniert.
ABER die App Anbindung ist grottig und brauch alle 30 Sekunden einen Neustart.
Tolles Spiel - App nicht.
Das Spiel an sich ist großartig. Die App ist jedoch eine Katastrophe. Es ist trotz aller aktueller Apps und einem iPhone 16 Pro nicht möglich mehr als nur ein Lied abzuspielen, ohne immer wieder eine neue Verbindung zu Spotify aufbauen zu müssen. Unter dieser Voraussetzung ist das Spiel leider im
Spaßfaktor sehr eingeschränkt.

Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie eine App so buggy sein kann 😔 Testet die bei euch niemand selbst? Das Spiel ist eigentlich super, aber so bleibt vom Spaß nicht viel übrig.

Verbindung zu spotify muss nach jedem 2. Lied neu hergestellt werden - kann man nicht gebrauchen!
