## HK Alexa Setup Reviews in United States

### *---- "Why does this app even exist?"
It might work if I could just use the Alexa app for setup. But connection fails every-time. No Alexa, can’t turn off lighting or play connect by Bluetooth. Should have opened the box years ago. Now it’s a brick.
-- Khalas, 2025-09-01

### *---- "App is basically useless and makes the product a paper weight"
The app doesn’t let you connect to amazon making it an expensive speaker that needs to be constantly charged worst purchase not worth the trouble even if its free
-- o.k.g, 2025-08-28

### *---- "Fail at linking Acc"
I’ve restarted the app and even tried re downloading it multiple times but every time I try and link an amazon account it just says failed. I’m not able to use my HK Allure at all now and it’s just a big paper weight without a linked amazing acc.
-- XedzDead, 2025-08-24

### ***-- "A luxury product"
Now my machine is useless.

Edit: I bought my speaker used on eBay, it worked fine for like two years, now Alexa doesn’t work and every time I try to set it up after a factory reset, it takes me to the screen where I connect to Alexa, and it fails. I don’t know if you people have some problem with Jeff Bezos or something…
-- Hayoureit, 2025-06-28

### *---- "Una porqueria"
No han hecho ninguna actualización y ahora mi bocina tan cara es un pisa papeles. No puedo conectarla a mi red WiFi y tampoco a Alexa y/o Amazon
-- TexasRanger2102, 2025-06-14

### *---- "Hackers"
Hackers are using the software for invasion of privacy and illegal recording
-- Truthtxhtxstx, 2025-03-15

### *---- "Never Gift Alexa Astra"
Received as a gift, unfortunately the HK Alexa Setup app doesn’t work. It just hung at the screen suggesting Enable WIFI network despite WiFi already unable and active.
-- Yougal, 2024-12-31

### ***** "Love the app"
Yes
-- Poorscratcher, 2024-02-07

### *---- "No settings?.."
Tried changing my name.. can’t find the settings 😑.. Alexa is no help on that.
-- U.N.F.C., 2023-06-09

### ***** "App is Fine , Need Factory Reset"
This app does the job fine. If you’re HBO g problems connecting the speaker to WiFi to the speaker using the App, you’ll simply need to reset by using a small pin to press the button next to where the power plug is inserted into the device. I learned this from Mario at Hk support who was an absolute stud trouble shooter!
