## HoCo RapidRide Description
HoCo RapidRide is a new way to get around the Route 1 corridor in Howard County. We’re a ridesharing service that’s smart, easy, and reliable.

With a few taps, book a ride in the app and our technology will pair you with other people headed your way.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Book a ride by setting your pickup and dropoff addresses, and indicating if you’re riding with any additional passengers. 
- You will be given an estimated time when the vehicle will arrive upon booking your trip and on which nearby block you should meet your driver. The estimated arrival time of the driver will be automatically updated as your vehicle makes its way to meet you.
- When your driver arrives, please promptly board the vehicle.
- There may be others on board, or you may make a few additional stops along the way! You can track your ride and share your status in real-time trip from the app. 

SHARING YOUR TRIP:
Our algorithm matches people headed in the same direction. This means you’re getting the convenience of a private ride with the efficiency and reliability of a public one.

FLEXIBLE BOOKING.
Book a ride in our app right when you want it — no need to work around a schedule.

RELIABLE:
Track your ride as the driver is on their way to you, and while you’re on the vehicle too. 

OUR VEHICLES:
HoCo RapidRides is wheelchair accessible! If you require a wheelchair, simply toggle on “Wheelchair accessibility” in the “Account” tab of your app! When you request a ride, you’ll be matched with a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Tried getting a ride to get back home after a school club, but even at 4:45 PM (which is and hour and 15 minutes before service ends) no riders were available despite my pick-up spot and destination both being in the range of drivers.

I stayed afterschool for the first time ever and I thought having this app meant I always had a ride available or any sign of one being available soon so I thought it was smooth sailing from there. Nope, simply said that there were no drivers to get me and nothing else. Dad was stressed out and I was in trouble and probably wouldn't be allowed to stay afterschool after that. I went on the app before 6-6:30 because I know drivers aren't available after that or something and my destination was in the area that this app says the drivers can get to. I understand that this isn't like Uber or anything like that and I should be grateful that this app is available but still :(
