## Hoir Description
Hoir is an ear training app that teaches you to recognize notes, intervals, chords, melodies, and chord progressions — with realistic piano and guitar sounds.

Whether you're just starting your musical journey or looking to sharpen your relative pitch, Hoir's structured curriculum takes you from identifying your first notes all the way to transcribing full chord progressions.

FOUR GAME MODES

• Note Identification — Hear a note, identify it on the note wheel. Start with solfege (Do, Re, Mi) and progress to all 12 chromatic notes in any key.

• Chord Quality — Identify whether a chord is Major, Minor, Diminished, or Augmented, including inversions.

• Melodic Dictation — Listen to a short melody and rebuild it note by note.

• Chord Progressions — Hear a sequence of chords and identify them using Roman numerals (I, IV, V, vi…).

A STRUCTURED CURRICULUM

9 packs with 43 levels guide you step by step:

• Start with 4 notes in C Major
• Build up to the full diatonic scale
• Learn to hear in any key
• Add harmonic intervals and multiple octaves
• Master the chromatic scale
• Explore minor scale variants
• Identify chord qualities and inversions
• Transcribe melodies and chord progressions

Each pack includes interactive lessons with audio demos, quizzes, and mini-games — so you understand the theory behind what you're hearing.

SMART PRACTICE

Hoir tracks every answer you give. It knows which notes you confuse, which scale types challenge you, and where your accuracy is trending. Use Smart Practice to automatically target your weakest areas, or configure your own custom sessions with:

• 10 to 50 questions per session
• Harmonic or melodic intervals
• Fixed key, random key, or changing keys
• Major, Minor, or mixed scales
• Multiple octave range

REALISTIC INSTRUMENT SOUNDS

High-quality piano and guitar sounds derived from real instruments. Choose between Piano and Guitar, and switch anytime.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

• Daily streak counter to build consistency
• Detailed stats: overall accuracy, weakest notes, common confusions, and accuracy by mode
• Earn apples for correct answers and unlock new packs
• Unlock owl outfits as you progress

DESIGNED FOR MUSICIANS

Built for singers, guitarists, pianists, producers, songwriters, and music students. Hoir develops the skill that makes every other musical skill easier: your ear.
