Love the app for purpose of golf and tracking game and statistics. GPS seems to give accurate yardage. App is a pig on battery life. Lucky to finish a round only using my phone. My watch won’t even last nine wholes. Great app pig to run on you iPhone or Apple Watch
Facile à utiliser et précis
I tried to use this on the course and it wouldn’t refresh no matter what. The app on the phone would show the distance from the tee box, but that’s it. This has to be one of the most confusing and non user friendly golf gps apps. I reverted back to a 7 year old Garmin watch and it worked like a charm. The golf shot app was way better. Save your time, money, and just skip this app. One tech savvy golfer to another. This app sucks.
I no longer use hole19 as you can only get a hd hole layout if you subscribe to the premium. Made the permanent switch to a competitor and as I prefer hole19 the other app provides a clear picture of the hole and is accurate but does not compare when it comes to Apple Watch. Oh well, deleting hole19.
Absolutely loved this app and used it for every round. This year when I went to sign up again for the paid service, they removed the tier system they had and lumped it all into one premium subscription. For the below average golfer like me that only gets to play once or twice a month, and can only play from April to September/October every year, it doesn’t make sense to buy an annual membership that includes a bunch of different features I’ll never use. I never pay for subscriptions on any app, but I had no problem paying $4 a month just for Apple Watch gps and scoring features, because that’s how good the app was.
I use an Apple Watch and for basic yardages it is ok but not always accurate. Beyond that it offers very little… you can track scores but if you are looking for shot data, forget it. I have already cancelled subscription and moved on.
Don’t sign up, you can never cancel it
I really didn’t enjoy this app. I felt like it should be able to do what I want (track game, give metrics) but the interface was annoying. You need more tutorials. More documentation. The foundation is there but there should be multiple “getting started” and basic use tutorials on YouTube. The foundations of this app are good I think - but none of that matters if a user has no idea what they’re doing - meanwhile their golf group is waiting as they smash away at this app.
Hard to complain as the free app works pretty well, I would consider paying for the pro version if it wasn’t quite as pricey, but overall awesome app!
Used to live this app … but I am now so bombarded with ads AND wanting me to upgrade it is difficult to actually use. I am deleting and trying another free ad free golf course app!
