I’ve been using the Home+ app for quite some time. Initially because Apple did not have a Home app for controlling HomeKit, but even after this was released I regularly went to Home+ to setup automation that can simply not by done with Apple’s own app. Recently I’ve invested more time and money in home automation. Unfortunately I’ve run into some issues and limitations: 1. When using the fairly new Hue Wall Switch Module with 2 buttons configured, Home+ is showing only 1 button. Viewing the details, the switch is showing to have 2 accessories, but they are identical. Changing the name on one also changes the name on the other. Furthermore, when viewing the details of an accessory, it again shows 2 accessories. This goes on indefinitely. Neither the Apple Home app, nor the Eve app have this behavior. 2. I’ve setup a HomeBridge on which I’ve added Nest smoke detectors, but also a Marantz SR6015 receiver. The smoke detectors are shown correctly, but the receiver isn’t. As a result, it cannot be used in any of the automations. In all fairness, I should add that the receiver is not showing in the Eve app either. It is only showing in the Apple Home app. So maybe this is one of the limitations of the HomeKit. Despite these little quirks a good app overall. Update 2022-05-07: corrected typo’s
Wijzig Joe Lee Most valuable feature is the backup and restore facility.for homekit. Message is to migrate all (third party) automations into homekit and manage them there; in order to recover easily your scenes and rules when unexpected updates ruin your edits. Disadvantage, did not find a way to have the (Hue) customised bulb names (in Homekit) synchronised into Home+
Nice app, lots of good features, but since most of my automations are based on the if then else feature it feels like it’s not worth its high price.
I’m using a combination of the Apple Home app and Home+ to run my Homekit/Homebridge setup. Home+ is a no brainer.
Very nice application but why in the summary view all the accessories are not in the right room? impossible to move them ... Help
Toffe app, lijkt in vele opzichten op de Apple app. maar dan uitgebreider! Misschien wel iets te duur!
Very nice app, but NO support for Tuyasmart HomeKit products, please add this to this app!
Great work on the update! Love it. Thanks for the hard work!
Works better than any other homekit I tried, including apple home. Lets me do advanced stuff I was missing in other apps, without being complex. A++
