This app requests permissions to all sensors and gps. It does so to track your location to your home assistant session. There’s nothing wrong with that. However, if one chooses to opt out, like me. Then the app goes crazy and drains 20% battery each night. This issue has been easy to replicate for at least 2 years now. Still not fixed. Fix the damn 100% background activity.

So in general I really like the app. Minor fixes would make it excellent. There are some stability issues. Once in a while I have to close the app entirely, as it is not responding/crashing. Secondly, the dropdowns have never worked - e.g. when you try to setup an automation and want to choose an entity. I have never been able to select anything as it seems to just “click through” the actual dropdown. Hope my explanation makes sense?

Hi. After the last update can I not restart home assistant or make a update on the system from the app
App just crashes when pressing continue.
Jumps every time out of the app 😒
I love HA but how do I get to the config menu of the app? The yellow button with cogwheel disappears quickly. But most often it is not showing at all. I’m in an iPhone X.
This app makes smart home easy :-)
