Videos saved from the app use the date and time the video was saved, rather than the actual date and time the clip was recorded. It’s been this way for years now, but the problem has been exacerbated by the fact that the camera doesn’t record in HomeKit at all anymore (since iOS 18 came out). Please fix these issues!

Pretty disappointing so far. New install of the outdoor camera went fine.  Download the app, register an account.  All good.  Log into app and select netatmo, then outdoor camera and crash..  App just vanishes.  Rebooted phone, uninstalled app, reinstalled app, still the same problem.  Please fix..  camera was detected and setup in Apple home, but your app doesnt work.

There was a way for the user to chose the areas on the area (pic) which need to be monitored and the latest update removed it. The usability also is not friendly any more. I hope they fix these in the future.

### ****- "Certain parts of the iPhone app are useless!"
If you need to change some advanced settings like an FTP address you can’t. The UI hides key fields at the top of the form under a heading, making them impossible to get to! I had to install the app on an iPad to get around this issue! 

Update - I have apparently stumbled across an easily fixable UI issue that is being looked into.

The new user interface on iPad is too cluttered, hard to use and wastes a lot of space. The camera image should be the most prominent feature, as it was in the old interface, which was fine.

Update: Thank you for the explanation. It is my impression that the new app layout has been designed for iPhone, with the iPad App being an afterthought. The two column layout is confusing and does not make good use of the available space.

### ***** "Love the cameras, the app and the alerts!"
The detection and description detail and options for alerts are amazing! It’s quick to give me all the alerts I want on each of our specific camera locations. Our front door I chose to get alerts for people and in other locations I have any and all motion alerts set up in evening so I can feed a stray cat that came with our house when we moved in. Unfortunately I have not been able to catch it to make it an indoor cat, but at least I can feed the scared and hungry poor thing. That cat knows has figured out that sitting outside the back side yard camera will alert us to feed him, without attracting any wild animals. As soon as the cat is done eating and has left I get notified by the camera app so I can immediately pick up the plate.  We were thankfully able to install these over 5 years ago where we use to have outdoor lights. I love this app and the cameras, excellent alert notifications!!! I wish it was more popular, because it should be!!

So, now instead of accessing our security cameras the app just insists we either set up hardware or log out. So I guess the money we spent on cameras for a vacation home is as a waste. Will never buy anything from Netatmo again.

App is clean and works well. Since professional installation over two years ago, my Outdoor Camera has been rock solid, however my Video Doorbell needs a manual reboot via the app 1 to 3 times per week, which has become obnoxious. 

An app feature that needs implementation is to get the full vertical view once tapping a feed. I have to switch to the Apple Home app in order to see the full vertical view, for some reason.

Update
The glitch was temporary and all is working again.  In time to capture video of the bear getting into the garbage cans. LOL

I have been happy with this until now. The app just stoped working. It wants me to reset all my cameras that I have been using for years. It gets in a loop and can’t get past the setup screen. I have four cameras that were already setup. Argh

I have their doorbell camera in TX. This is not designed for the heat of this state. SD card dies from the extreme temps. You can blame global warming but this is really a design problem. 

Update: I bought my own SD card, one with high endurance and MLC flash. This seems to work despite the extreme temps. I think this product should ship with this type of flash which is also used in car dash cams due to the extreme temp conditions.
