HomeBudget is an integrated expense tracker designed to help you track your expenses, income, bills-due and account balances. It offers support for budgeting, and allows analysis of your expenses and income, including charts and graphs. Two key differentiating features of HomeBudget are:

1. Integrated set of features. The features within HomeBudget are well integrated such that a bill can become an expense (when you pay for it) and also adjust the account balance at the same time.

2. Family sync. HomeBudget includes Family Sync, an advanced feature that allows a group of devices within the household to exchange expense and income information, and work together within a single budget. Once setup, the devices sync with each other automatically over the air. Family Sync works across all features including Bills and Accounts. Expenses:
- Create/Edit/Delete expenses and recurring expenses
- Browse expense entries by month, by category/date with the ability to drill-down
- Optionally associate an account and payee with an expense
- Attach photo images of receipts; drag and resize images on screen
- Support for multiple currencies and automatic exchange rate conversion
- Search expense entries

Income:
- Create/Edit/Delete income and recurring income
- Optionally associate an account with the income

Bills
- Create/Edit/Delete bills and recurring bills
- Support for Payees, and track payments by Payee.
- Make payment on bills either an as expense or as a transfer (to avoid double accounting your expenses)
- Calendar and list view of Bills

Categories and Budget
- Create/Edit/Delete expense categories and sub-categories

- Budget rollover
- Classify expenses into fixed, variable and discretionary and compute your disposable income

Accounts
- Support for Accounts such as Checking, Savings, Credit, Debit, Cash, etc.
- Associate your expense and income entries with your accounts and accurately track account balances.
- View transactions, and do transfer between accounts.
- Ability to choose a different base currency for each account

Reports
- Trend chart for Expense, Budget and Income for the last 6 months
- Pie/Bar charts for expense break-down (Available in the Expenses screen).
- Export data/reports by email or via WiFi

Family Sync
- Automatically sync multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch) in the household and see the same numbers on all devices over 3G and WiFi
- Work within the same budget with other members of the household

Other
- Backup/Restore complete application data, including all receipts
- Ability to upload your own list of category icons
- Large numeric keypad for expense/income amount entry
- HomeBudget follows the locale/region setting on your device and shows date and currency symbols appropriate for your region

Comprehensive App

HomeBudget is a very comprehensive app and useful tool. It covers almost everything I need as a personal user. However, the support team has been getting less and less responsive and I find that I am unable to resolve some issues despite several reminders to the support team. There are possibly some limitations in terms of transaction volumes etc and I hope the developer will expand on these. Users can be charged for expanded features.

Been using it for years

Simple clean and it works well all these years. Highly recommended

Great budget app

I love this app and has been very helpful managing cash flows and also my personal balance sheets. I hope that fund transfers can also be provided with supporting document.

Good and useful

User friendly apps, highly recommended to those who need to know their expenses. Search function is useful for price monitoring

Transfer between Accounts

Great App. Would like to see the option transferring between accounts in next update.

App crashed after setting password in iOS 13.1.3

I have restored from previous version of Home Budget application to a new iPhone (iOS 13.1.3). The restoration was successful, however, when I put a password to the application, it keeps crashing. I have to reinstall and restore the backup again. My previous Home Budget was from my previous version of iOS 13.1.2. Appreciate if you can fix this issue. Thanks!

Data for 3 years only

Been using this app all these years, recently then find out the recurrent expenses is no more lifetime, it max up to 2 years and need to input again after that. Secondly, when i wanted to check my 2016 expenses, it all gone, my effort of input from 2011 all gone. No way i can retrieve it back. Thirdly, please add a function if user change phone, he/she does not need to re-input all recurrent expenses, currently no auto flowing to the new phone, once change phone, it can be seen but not auto deduct when the reoccurrence expense is due.

Simple yet comprehensive

Something I want. Simple yet have all the features I want to just monitor bills, expense savings.

Good app with interesting features

I have been searching for app to track my expenses and accounts which could mange by both myself and wife. This app has almost all the things that I’ve been searching for. There are things to improve but eventually, this is a quiet better app.

Great app

Been using this for how many years now and quite happy about it. But I hope multiple budget can be added as feature.
