HomeCam for HomeKit Reviews

Support for Eufy cameras.

RafalHaendel on

The HomeKit cameras connected without any issues. However, the app's performance is not very fast. There is sometimes a problem with loading the video feed. This might be due to the network speed—I’m checking that. There's no guidance on how to install cameras other than HomeKit ones, even though the manufacturer states that the app is compatible with Eufy C220 (these are IP cameras). I purchased your app because you stated that it also works with Eufy Cam 2K Pan & Tilt (C220) cameras. How can I add these cameras to the app? I am waiting for a response from support.

Needs a update

Camera preview won’t load both in widget and the app. Update to support iOS 16.2 is needful.

Great app, I’ve been using it years now. Easiest way to view multiple feeds at once.

Where did the widget go?

There’s used to be a widget i could put in my “today view” I think that’s what it’s called, and I could view all my cameras on my homepage basically. Where did it go? Why remove?

Miss the widgets

Update: thanks for the reply, bummer Apple removed the capability! Hopefully a new widget could at least display a recent snapshot if not a live feed. Original review: iOS 18 took away some of the widgets when swiping to the left of the lockscreen or homescreen. I used to have homecam here. Would be nice if homecam could update to put its widgets in this area

Misleading not enough information. Don’t buy before reading this

This app DON’T OPEN CAMERAS FROM OTHER APPS THAT NOT COMPATIBLE TO HOMEKIT. I immediately requested a refund and they don’t provide one. Seems like scam or misleading on purpose. Give me back my money.
