## HomeSecure Description
With the HomeSecure app, you never need to worry, thinking 'did I set the alarm' ever again. In this easy to use app, you can check the status of your alarm, disarm your system or arm it in the Stay or Away mode, with the tap of a button. You can remotely arm your system from anywhere in the world!

Features:
- Fully arm alarm system to Away Mode, enabling all perimeter and motion sensors.

- Set to Night Mode, enabling your perimeter sensors, but disabling your motion sensors, so you can walk around your home without setting off the system.

- Fully disarm your system. Returning home, but got your arms full? Disarm your alarm from your app, so you don't need to dump everything to rush to the panel.

- Panic Alert. Single touch panic button feature, sends alert to monitoring station and your fellow keyholders (who have downloaded the app). The monitoring station will check if you're okay and will send the relevant emergency department if assistance is required. 

- Create multiple users, so everyone in your family has their own app.

- Get notified when the alarm status changes. View a full history of changes. You'll also receive a notification when your alarm has been activated. 

Our latest app notifies you every time the alarm status has been changed. You can also see who has armed / disarmed the system. So you know if the kids have got home safely from school or if you're getting work done in your home, you'll know what time the builders arrived.

If you are getting work done in your home and don't want to give out your alarm code, you simple disarm the system before they enter your home and fully arm it, when you know they're gone. This is also recommended if you have someone minding your home, when you’re on holiday.

The app is easy to use, working off handy little icons, which match your KeyPad and KeyFob.

### ***-- "Design flaw"
The app has a serious design flow with positio ing of the panic button.
Not only the icon for the panic button is very similar to nigth mode, it has been placed at the bottom of the screen.
On most phones, when you want to close an app, you need to swipe app from the bottom to the top.
Guess where you may accidentally end swiping?
On the panic button.
It should be moved to the upper section and the icon changed to make it different. I would also ise a different colour too

Panic button is is located right next to Arm button and at the edge of your screen so ample chances to accidentally press it, how has this been overlooked?

So the button you would be pressing daily (Arm) is located just next to the button you only ever want to press in an emergency 

Needs to be its own standalone feature away from any of the regular buttons

Easy to use and very convenient when out and about. Could be better if they added automatic timer for alarm to be turned on/off or even a push notification as a reminder. 

Also, side note. The imagery for perimeter and motions doesn’t make sense, both show the inside of a house (to me anyway)!

### ***-- "Needs more control over notifications and better UX."
Functionality is good for the most part, but the app needs much better and more granular control over notifications to enable critical ones (alarm activated, motion activity) while silencing others ( a particular sensor has gone offline etc). 
I have had intermittent sensors at the limit of my property with moderate reception go on and offline for days on end at all hours of the day and night due to weather fluctuations etc, and the only way to silence these is to kill ALL notifications, which means no critical alerts (like an intruder, for example). Control over different classifications of notifications would be far more useful to leave the important ones on and turn the annoying ones off. 
Also, there doesn’t seem to be any option to bypass or disable specific zones or devices. If any device is offline or not reachable, then the entire alarm system cannot be armed until it comes back on. This could take minutes or hours. 
It’s OK but not great. UX and basic user functions/controls need a rethink.

Panic button is right beside disarm button, can easily press it by accident, need a confirm panic button option at a minimum. Get it sorted!

The text size is small, feint and difficult to read. There is no visual hierarchy with the icons, I was told to ignore the icons that are the biggest ????  And the icons themselves are not obvious as to what purpose they serve. Any app that needs training to use has failed in its remit. Look forward to new releases!!!  Homesecure have a great service that is not supported by the app falling short.

App does exactly what’s needed but one big issue is the Panic button is stuck right on top of the night mode button and it’s bigger which causes panic mode to be accidentally triggered when you try to set night mode ! Have seen a lot of people complain about this but so far has not been updated !
