Honorlock helps you complete your authentication steps and use your mobile device as a webcam during supported Honorlock online assessments. This app walks you through each step before your session begins, then securely connects your phone's camera to your session.

This app does not deliver sessions or provide proctoring itself. It works alongside your institution's Honorlock enabled assessments.

Features

- Guided, step-by-step Honorlock authentication
- Use your phone's camera as a webcam
- ID, workspace, and camera setup in one place
- Saved progress so an interruption won't make you start over
- Compatible with supported Honorlock enabled assessments

## Honorlock Reviews in United States

### *---- "This app gotta be rage bait Gng"
Bro this app waste my time it literally took me like 2-3 hours to first set this app up for my online class ts gotta be ragebait. Not even adding to the fact on how it can literally steal your info and sell it like if this app decides to sell your info you are COOKED I’m not even lying boys this app got your face it got your ID it got what apps you have it got everything bro. I don’t even show my ID to Roblox but I’m forced to show my ID to a small website like this just because am forced to this is bs I’m crine 😭😭

### *---- "Not an effective and reliable tool at all"
I am thoroughly disappointed with this app and its web version. It is hard to navigate, does not have a back button for some reason when I want to navigate back, and is overall a giant mess. Their updates do not improve their sites at all, instead focusing on making the app worse. Very disappointed as a student who is just trying to complete AP courses and instead have to go through this unreliable, garbage, and dishonest application.

### *---- "Worst education app ever"
This app made me incredibly stressed out while preparing for tests. Negatively impacted test scores due to stress, and improper communication. Incredibly finicky and stops often for no apparent reason. I despise using this app.

### *---- "If I could give it zero stars I would"
I am a diligent student, and when I added honorlock as my college demands for our tests. Once I’m in my final, with a three hour time limit my computer started flashing like a strobe light. I had to speak with support, which was hard since my screen was flashing. And they made a FALSE CLAIM, that it was my computer and to sign out and back in. Instead of being a respectable business and doing something useful. I lost a hour and did poorly on my exam with my limited time and emotional distress knowing that this final meant a lot to me. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS. But with the fact it’s a one star rating, I think it’s obvious that everyone thinks that,

### *---- "worst monitoring system"
Genuinely cheated in all my tests while using this thing. It's good for absolutely nothing other than selling your government IDs and giving you a massive headache trying to set it up.
-- qtanom, 2026-08-08

### *---- "Shouldn’t be an app"
If your course requires Honorlock, drop the class. Whoever designed this app should switch career choices. Forced to monitor your every move, requires government id/ information, requires facial recognition. This app will close your test as soon as the proctor “feels needed” you will spend more time trying to please your proctor then actually being able to take the tests. I don’t understand how this app has not been shut down or flagged.

### *---- "Trash"
Don’t use
-- Barfytobarf, 2026-08-04

### *---- "Terrible experience"
The setting up part is extremely annoying while I’m just doing a test for a job with a few questions. Worse than any in person exam experience in my memory
