Overall this app is easy to navigate and offers a great service, but sometimes it will randomly skip ahead or backwards. I’ll be listening with my phone locked in my pocket and the player will suddenly jump hours away from where I’m at, which means I must then try to figure out where I left off. I save random bookmarks so I don’t end up too far off, but now I can’t use the bookmark function to actually go back to parts I want to hear.
I have enjoyed Hoopla Audio Books for probably 15 years. Of the more than 3500 books I’ve “read” very few have been returned early due to any other reason than personal taste. I lean toward westerns, mysteries and adventure stories. A few of the classics have been surprisingly wordy and hard to read but in general, I find Hoopla Audio Books a great way to relax, learn and be entertained.
Yard work, house work, laundry, painting, I accomplish so much listening to audio books on Hoopla! I love it!

I’ve had Hoopla for a few months, but had not used it. I just finished listening to my first audiobook on Hoopla. It was a totally seamless experience. I really enjoyed it. I enjoy this app and recommended highly.

There are a lot of newer audiobooks that are not available on this app.
