## Hornby Magazine Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Never too old to start"
At the age of 77 I am embarking on building a layout. My magazine only arrived two days ago and it’s been “attached to the end of my nose” ever since. I have a year’s subscription. Jam packed with pictures, advertisements, valuable information and encouraging articles.
I have the train set, 3 extension packs, the wood for the base and so much enthusiasm and i’ll be up and running quite soon. Is there ONE book that I could use now to help me take my foot from the threshold into the “Railway modeller’s house?”

### *---- "App doesn’t work"
Downloaded to read the magazine and it doesn’t let me sign in to my KMW membership or download any of the magazines to the library.
-- Ryan-23, 2023-05-06

### ***** "Hornby magazine"
what a great magazine full of reviews , layouts and tips on model railways all in a brilliant digital subscription , i do love the printed version but they take up too much room i won’t throw them away as i may need them in the future for a re-read or for reference but the digital version solves all them problems it’s the future for me on how to have books/ magazines etc & with battery technology getting better then the amount of time i get to read my hornby magazine will only increase even though it pretty good now so keep this great monthly subscription coming .
-- IAN.DEAN, 2020-02-03

### ***** "Excellent magazine"
Full of useful advice and information.
-- Mannek01, 2016-01-30

### ***** "Now sorted!"
Hanging on splash page now resolved.
Back to 5 stars for content and app experience. Nice layout to the mag — clean and relevant.
Thoroughly recommended now
-- Chirurgean, 2014-12-11

### ****- "Digital modelling"
Hornby magazine runs as smoothly as the opposition on the IPad. Only annoyance is the add for "great electric train show" popping up each time I go to have a read.
-- F2paul, 2014-09-12

### *---- "No restore"
Currently not allowing restore of purchased mags
-- gilbo2, 2014-03-29

### ****- "Mr"
I have taken Hornby magazine from the beginning and recently switched from the paper to the online version. I feel that for anyone interested in model railways this is the best all-round publication - whereas some of the competitors seem a bit hard to digest or a bit too technical in places, I find this title easy to read and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone thinking of becoming, or already actively involved in, model railways, especially if they are working in the most popular UK scale, 00.
-- Pavilion37, 2014-02-02

### *---- "Great Magazine but crashes endlessly"
This is a really enjoyable magazine but it never stays open long enough to actually read it...shame.
It always happens on zooming in...in fact, you can't zoom at all now.
-- FizzbangGlut, 2013-11-25

### ***-- "Okay-ish"
The magazine is great and being able to read it on my ipad is nice, but the app itself is decidedly flaky. Crashes regularly and just isn't very stable.
-- PadJunkie, 2013-10-12
