Dependable Hostelworld

I have been using Hostelworld for at least three years if not for. I have never been unhappy with the results. Hostels come and go but hostelworld.com is dependable. It is accurate in its pricing and it is useable for just about anywhere you want to go. Use it with confidence.

Pire service à vie

Ne réservez pas avec Hostelworld. Ils chargent des frais qu’ils appellent un dépôt pour garantir la réservation mais attention, quand vous tentez de modifier une réservation, et non l’annuler complètement, l’app infique que la fonction est temporairement indisponible via leur app et de contacter l’hostel directement pour demander une modification sans aucune mise en garde ou notice concernant ces frais qui correspondent à un % du nombre de nuits initial (avant modification). Bref, un autre gars a eu le même problème et frustration au moment de son checkout comme c’est un dépôt nous pensions aussi que ces frais seraient déduis du prix à payer au moment du checkout à l’établissement. En bref, c’est l’hostel qui nous a expliqué et nous a fourni les preuves pour contacter Hostelworld et demander un remboursement partiel de ces frais. Pire service à la clientèle, du vol! Ils ne veulent rien savoir de nous rembourser la portion des frais correspondant aux nuits annulées dans le délai d’annulation gratuite qui plus est! Ils répètent en boucle la même chanson sincèrement je n’ai jamais vécu un aussi mauvais service à la clientèle via un intermédiaire de réservation. Nous ne recommandons vraiment pas Hostelworld. Bookez via Booking qui offre un excellent service ou avec l’établissement directement. Pour vous donner une idée ces frais nous ont coûté le double du prix de notre chambre privative pour 1 nuit donc nous avons payé une nuit dans un hostel (à cause d’Hostelworld) le prix d’un hôtel de luxe 5*. Les preuves fournies par l’hostel sont claires et indéniables avec les dates, les heures, les échanges et la modification faite et malgré cela Hostelworld ne veut rien savoir de nous rembourser.

Can’t log in

I have tried everything. There is now way to long in on my fully updated iPhone 12 mini. That is the least you can get to work on an app like this. It just sends me to a link that sends me to the App Store that sends me back to the browser in the app in a never ending loop. I have uninstalled, re-installed, cleared cookies, turned on cookies, logged in on the website on browser, updated my phone, etc. Please fix this.

Rates and currencies

Rates are only in euro, it’s difficult to budget properly when your not européen, hostels are nice in general but always needing to convert in our currency is definitely a major negative point.

Not working

This app is not working right now, when you download it and try to sign in, it takes you back to the appstore to download the app. Then if you click to “open” the app, it goes back to the page it was on originally and then takes you back to the appstore. Impossible to sign in or do anything.

Hostel world Is great… on the website

I don’t know what it is, I’ve tired to look it up and I’ve looked around for other people having issues with specifically their apps price estimation system when paying for a hostel. When I look at a hostels nightly price, it’s normal until I select a bed which it will then jump to 4-5x the price, it’s crazy. A bed for 13 a night will randomly jump to 67 or 98, and it only happens on the app. While a minor issue for me cause I’ll just book on your website, I thought it was worth mentioning to see if other people are finding the same issue.

I use HostelWorld for all of my bookings while travelling. The reviews on it are from other travellers & the star ratings can be trusted! LOVE

Great

My friend told me to get my Hostels with Hostelworld and it’s really simple to use. I like how much information there is, we can see if hostels organize activities and chat with the people we will Meet once there.

Problem loggin in

It asks me to log in and when I click log in it takes me back to the App Store. I can’t log in.. so frustrating
