Please can you tell me why this app no longer works on my Apple watch 6 ? I have the Apple 14 max pro phone

Hot Air is a flight logging and tracking application made especially for hot air balloon pilots! It's like having a log book and data recorder in your pocket! Hot air is loaded with lots of different features; many based on pilot feedback from around the world.

- Integration of the Glympse location sharing service to allow ground crew, family, or others to track your flight in real-time. They can track you using almost any device with a data connection.
- Flight Log- the log makes it easy to track information common to all pilots such as crew members, passengers, maximum envelope temperature, and propane used. The log also makes saving takeoff and landing locations convenient, thanks to the iPhone’s GPS or triangulation capabilities; plus, it has a "favorites" list for takeoff locations. The log can also aid in flight planning and separates future flights from past flights using a simple color-coding scheme.
- Flight Data Summary: this tab quickly tallies flights and hours flown. The summary includes a total of all flights or just the ones made within the past 90 days. Plus a summary of the crew used for past flights.
- Summary Map: on the map tab, the logged flights that have a saved takeoff and landing location can be plotted and compared on an interactive map
- Data export: export your flight log in HTML, KML (for viewing in Google Earth), and GPX (GPS Exchange)
- Data backup and restore - to be certain your data is safe!

Needs IPadOS 16 update
I have been using this app for many years, both privately and commercially and it works great, up until I updated my iPad to IOS16, since then, it keeps freezing mid flight. Another very useful suggestion would be to enable different colour Overlay pins. Great work though, really appreciate all your hard work. 👍 (Using iPad Pro M1 11inch 2021 Cellular)
Great record of flight
Really pleased with this App which records the flight track, max speed and altitude etc. of a flight. It totals up the cumulative hours for the pilot and for each registered balloon flown, the pax details, weight, propane used, names of crew. Reads speeds in MPH not knots which I would prefer. This can all be synchronised with google earth to provide a 2D track. A very cool App. Recommended.

Excellent app for hot-air ballooning. May need some minor tweaks for UK use (e.g. Option of knots as well / instead of mph please). But overall the best app for the purpose!

Hot - great ballooning app.
I think this app is superb for ballooning. There are a few things that I would like to have enhanced, however I have now used it for 18 months and found it to be very good. It is reasonably easy to add the sensitive area maps for uk.
Great but...
... The iCloud function does not work which is a real shame, flights on my iPhone do not show up on my ipad or new iPhone.
