That is why we came up with Hot Horse. As things get warmer, we worry about over working our friends. When it gets colder, we want them in top condition and ready to work with proper blanketing. We don't sell horse blankets; we have no reason to recommend anything we don't honestly believe in. We use this app as much or more than our customers. We are right there with you. Get the current WetBulb Globe Temperature Index (WBGT Index) for your horse on your phone or watch! Get appropriate blanketing recommendations. No more looking up the weather, and then trying to figure it out from there. Plan your rides and workouts for up to 7 days with Hot Horse! Hot Horse gives you the current index updated every four hours. You can switch between sun and shade. Blanketing has been another bane for the horse owner. What blanket should we put on tonight? Does my baby need one to be turned out for an hour or two? What is an LCT? Hot Horse will help. There are many scholarly articles out there, but how to account for everything all the time? Hot Horse will apply consistent standards to give you the confidence in your decisions. You should still evaluate your horse, and the blanket recommendation and adjust it accordingly. Hot Horse Pro accounts for age, body condition, past weather conditions, precipitation and wind chill with each and every recommendation. You can't beat it! Hot Horse Pro updates the index every 30 minutes and includes hourly and daily planning views. You can also change your location, and have all of the data at your fingertips. Know when to ride! • Auto-renewable subscriptions: 1 Month Subscription with Trial ($0.99) 3 Month Subscription with Trial ($1.99) 6 Month Subscription with Trial ($2.99) 1 Year Subscription with Trial ($3.99) • Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Current subscription may not be cancelled during the active subscription period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. • EULA: • Privacy policy: Background Photo © Scott Robinson (cc-by-sa/2.0) ## Hot Horse Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 7 (54%) - 4 stars: 1 (8%) - 3 stars: 1 (8%) - 2 stars: 2 (15%) - 1 stars: 2 (15%) ## Hot Horse Reviews in United States ### ***** "Easy and Accurate" We have used this app since it came out. For us it has been accurate and easy to use. We really like how fast it loads, and the recent updates have been great. We generally use the widgets and watch complications which give you most of what you need at a quick glance. Also the horse update feature that prompts you to think about how your horse is doing under its blankets is well thought out. -- GoodConsumer, 2024-12-28 ### *---- "Do not recommend" App worked at first, then it stopped loading the current weather. No matter how I change things it won’t load , nor will it even show on the app. This app also only has the degrees in Celsius. -- Emillanajeffers, 2024-10-17 ### ***-- "I wanted to love it" I wanted to love this app but the temp predictions have been incorrect with current and upcoming temperatures by 10 degrees. -- j10simluffy, 2022-10-08 ### **--- "Doesn’t ever work" You know, I’d be more inclined to give this a better rating if it ever freaking worked. All it ever does is show grey spaces and no weather information. Then it says “it’s running very slow, please be patient” and then it’ll say “try again later”. Only seems to work about half the time. -- Hkw001, 2022-01-12 ### ****- "Good app" Good app wish there was a clipped horse toggle like the run in toggle option. Otherwise like how simplistic it is. -- Lsndbeudusmd, 2021-10-22 ### ***** "Easy to use" I love this app! No wasted time debating with myself about whether it’s too hot to ride or what type of blanket my horse needs to have on. As a working mom, this app helps me more easily plan rides and quickly determine blanketing in the winter. -- Hannah K Hirschfeld, 2021-07-22 ### ***** "So Helpful!" I love this app! I’m a new horse owner and the app takes all the guess work out of keeping my girl safe during our crazy hot and humid months. Thank you for this app! -- Alise and Grace, 2021-07-11 ### ***** "Awesome app!!" I love this app! It keeps me and my horse safe in the summer heat and offers excellent guidance for blankets in the winter! -- rockersoup, 2021-07-11 ### *---- "Must pay to access features" This app isn’t all that useful unless you’re paying for it. The basic, free version doesn’t allow you to add specific horses and their coat length. (When other free blanket apps have that option.) I was disappointed by that and went with a different app. I do like the heat index feature, but it’s not worth it for me to keep/utilize the app just for that. -- HG89, 2020-11-16 [View all Hot Horse reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Hot Horse In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Annual with 2 Week Trial | $3.99 | | 3 Month with 2 Week Trial | $1.99 | | 6 Month with 2 Week Trial | $2.99 | | Monthly with 2 Week Trial | $0.99 | ## Hot Horse Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/united-states) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/new-zealand) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/australia) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/canada) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/algeria) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/united-kingdom) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/kuwait) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/united-arab-emirates) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/hot-horse-Mwdd/germany) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
