HotelTonight: Hotel Deals

Hotel Tonight seemed convenient at first, but I was blindsided by an extra $365 in fees charged by the hotel at checkout, which were never disclosed upfront. Transparency is crucial, and this experience has made me hesitant to use the app again.

Pay the fortune for my room. I was supposed to be a Luxe hotel. The picture showed ocean views. I'm looking at a parking lot in a room that looks like an embassy suites having paid rates the same as for the Ritz Carlton. Use this to find hotels that have availability and then make sure you call the hotel directly. Extremely disappointed.

Have used the app for a while now, I have been put in danger in several instances. Can’t trust solid recommendations or ratings, I have been sent to hotels that are bed bug infested, unsafe and unsanitary.

Hotel Tonight is the only hotel booking app I use. Never been disappointed!

I’d generally had good experiences with the app over the years. The hotel inventory can be hit or miss though. But recently I’d received credits that I was going to use over Christmas. But when I signed in the credits had expired, even though I’d received them the previous month. I don’t know any app or website that expires credits that quickly. I’d thought better as an active HotelTonight user of more than a decade. They make it impossible to contact them. No email/number on the website, and they haven’t posted on social in more than two years.

Great app! We love that we can decide where to stay at the last minute when traveling.

Technical support wasn’t helpful at all.
