The HQ91 model is not listed as a supported model, so I tried another model that was listed. Having tried to connect a few times with various error messages, I gave up. I've now 'banned' it from my WiFi router to stop it trying to connect. -- Kent pensioner, 2024-12-12 ### *---- "Useless" App is pretty much useless, as it won’t actually let you control the machine. It’s very buggy, doesn’t always connect to the machine, sometimes completely crashes and was a nightmare to setup. -- halewoodj, 2024-12-11 ### **--- "Works for the Washer" Ok it’s ok for seeing how long is left, but having to press a button to use the app is frustrating. A live tile would be amazing But the notification when the wash is complete does work. The update history mentions widget? Was this once a thing? Widget Where are the widgets?? And Alexa support???? Come on!! It’s 2024!! -- StuBrotherton, 2024-12-03 ### *---- "Awful machine, horrendous app" Bought machine for marketed WiFi connectivity and the app has never worked. The machine became the Hell of A Thousand Faults after a year anyway. The app never stores Favourites, the machine constantly disconnects from WiFi or forgets the connection entirely, the app doesn't even store your washing machine details and adding it back to the app again and again is tiresome. You can use the machine without the app of course, but you paid a premium for that ability or could have saved money buying a traditional washing machine. I'll never buy Hotpoint products again after this. What happened? It used to be a well-regarded brand with superior products. Don't expect this app to be anything other than a useless frustration the developers and company should be ashamed of. No evidence they care, no hope they'll fix it by making a new app from scratch. -- PhoenixArtemis, 2024-09-01 ### *---- "Hopeless App" As with many of the other reviews, this does not show the model number of my Washing Machine, so can’t connect. -- JR-Cas Tiger, 2024-04-30 ### *---- "What’s the point!" I count not understand what is the point of Wi-Fi on a washing machine, after installing the app, and finding out my serial number does not match those in the list, my question was answered. There is absolutely no point to Wi-Fi on a washing machine -- Wannabe traveller, 2024-03-01 ### ***-- "Wifi washing machine" Ordered the wifi homenet washing machine, had it delivered, installed it and was about to set up the wifi. First step couldn’t even work, the model number it asked for wasn’t even on there so couldn’t set it up and brought this just for the wifi! I do hope developers will fix this issue including it was an expensive purchase. Great machines overall but does need a 1hour wash that does 60c degrees and full 1600rpm spin speed and would be better if you could use rapid or eco with the multi rinses option, definitely room for improvement, bring back fastwash 60’ or just use anti stain quick and let that go up to 60c with full spin speed at 1hour. Whirlpool, please fix this, i’m a washing machine expert and every customer wants a 1hour wash with max spin speed, rapid button works but shouldn’t limit every spin to either 1200rpm or 1000rpm as comes out with far too much remaining water. My model Ind.C. number is: 7699 9164 7512 It does not show on the app hence i cannot add the washer onto the app. Would love to see this issue resolved thanks. -- eatingcum, 2023-12-09 ### *---- "Appliance not found." Stickers on the fridge telling us to download and connect to the app. The app says the model number of our fridge doesn’t exist. Tried the Whirlpool app too, same result. Pretty pointless exercise. -- Doug - Bristol, 2023-12-06 ### *---- "Not good" This app is the worst! There is always an error message and it never finds my appliance. It needs some serious work done on it. I would say of all the washing I’ve done -the app has worked 5% of the time. I now don’t bother using the app- which is a shame as that’s why I bought the appliance. -- Meeshy3000, 2023-06-20 ### *---- "Msg on Home Screen" Msg on iPhone Home Screen is truncated, when selecting to read the whole msg it disappears and takes you to the home page of the app -- Pointless Msg, 2023-06-19 [View all Hotpoint Home Net reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Hotpoint Home Net - [WashApp](https://apptail.io/app/washapp-DJd/united-kingdom) - [Camping & Caravanning Magazine](https://apptail.io/app/camping-caravanning-magazine-ZTe/united-kingdom) - [hOn](https://apptail.io/app/hon-Qzu/united-kingdom) - [SuperSavvy](https://apptail.io/app/supersavvy-xDG/united-kingdom) - [MyHeating by Warmup](https://apptail.io/app/myheating-by-warmup-CTbb/united-kingdom) - [Copycat Fragrances](https://apptail.io/app/copycat-fragrances-eXSb/united-kingdom) - [Ideal World](https://apptail.io/app/ideal-world-ppTb/united-kingdom) - [GoGroopie](https://apptail.io/app/gogroopie-ECjf/united-kingdom) - [The Beauty Cabin Salons](https://apptail.io/app/the-beauty-cabin-salons-wOrh/united-kingdom) ## Hotpoint Home Net Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/united-kingdom) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/italy) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/portugal) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/belgium) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/spain) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/france) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/ireland) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/romania) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/greece) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/hotpoint-home-net-Dfjk/hungary) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
