## HOTWORX Description
The HOTWORX application is indented for members of our HOTWORX Studio facilities. The purpose of this application is to encourage users to track their total amount of calories burned during a HOTWORX workout session, and to track their "1-hour after-burn." A HOTWORX workout is 40 minutes, and the after-burn is 1 hour. The total session time will capture the calories burned for a total of 100 minutes.

This app integrates with the Health app.

## HOTWORX Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Will not record calories"
I did a work out before the New Year and my calories receded and when I went last night they did not record from my Apple Watch. This was disappointing
-- Barreras13, 2025-01-03

### ***-- "No sync with Garmin"
Much improved app - easy to use! Sure wish it would sync with my Garmin watch though.
-- JTKCMO, 2024-12-24

### *---- "HOTWORX is GREAT; The app is HOT-GARBAGE."
I’ve been a HOTWORX member for a couple weeks now, and have enjoyed a few workouts at the gym, but trying to use the app is frustrating. The Bluetooth door locks don’t work, the app does not sync with Apple health to allow for workouts to transfer to other apps, and the only thing the app shows during a workout is a timer. I want to see heart rate data! Doesn’t seem like that much to ask for given every other workout app does it. If you start a workout on an Apple Watch so you can see your heart rate, it stops the workout in the HOTWORX app, so you don’t get credit for your calorie burn bonuses.

I’ve about decided to ignore their workouts and app and just go into the saunas and do my own thing with the times I’ve reserved.

### ***-- "Love HOTWORX, Dislike the app"
I have been trying to workout using the app & connecting to my Apple Watch for days. Both my phone app and watch app are up-to-date and my account is in good standing. No matter what, I cannot pair my Apple Watch to have it track my calories. It worked for a while and suddenly there are “no active sessions available” to track. I am diligent about booking and don’t attend sessions without booking—I’m a rule follower in that way. They also make it extremely complicated to revert back once you’ve chosen to try to track calories on your Apple Watch and choose “No Device to Pair” instead. Lost a good 5-7 minutes of this class just to track my calories. The app is an absolute nightmare. Again, I’m a huge HOTWORX lover but the app needs a serious overhaul. With how much we all pay for our memberships, an app that can link to my Apple Watch isn’t too much to ask for in my opinion.
-- BTRisLife15, 2024-12-03

### *---- "Would be amazing if not inconsistent"
I’ve been using the app for about 1 year and the inconsistency is the most frustrating. If it worked as intended I believe it would be fantastic- I love the tracking features but the issues with logging on have been excruciating. Please get that fixed!
-- itsMeLoriD, 2024-12-03

### *---- "New DietTrax app won’t log foods properly"
Updated to new diettrax app and can’t log any foods. Everytime I add a new one it replaces anything had. Very frustrating. The old one was much better.
-- mansion kid, 2024-12-01

### ***-- "The app is great but one suggestion"
I lvoe the functionality of the app! My only wish is that the streak isn’t on a 24 hour timer, but by day-to -day. If i work out 9am one day and then 8pm the next, it’s sad that i lose my streak!

I only say this as i just lost mine and it ir keeps me motivated 😅
-- JCPennyy, 2024-11-26

### ***-- "App needs improvement"
Unable to open doors even if I type in a specific location. Have to put my code in every time :/
-- JRZEEJK, 2024-11-02

### ***-- "App Needs Some Work"
I love the studio and classes. However the app is what needs work. It’s really not that intuitive to use. Like I lost the opportunity on recording some of my exercises due to not knowing that you need to close out the stats in order for it to upload. It would be nice if it gave you an intro on how to properly record or just make it more intuitive and user friendly. Additionally, it would be nice if the work outs tied in with Apple activities and Strava to have your stats accounted for on other apps as well.
-- Ohhhh...., 2024-10-30

### ****- "App is great but pesters you with adding every session to the calendar"
The app works great, however I don’t like it that I get a pop up to add every session I book to the calendar. There is no option to disable that too.
