Hourly News is a simple app that plays the most recent news updates from multiple sources automatically when opened.
As a podcast app, Hourly News lets to you listen to any/all of the most recent NPR , BBC, CBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, VOA, SRN, RTHK, DW, Marketplace, New York Times, and/or FOX news updates and more.
You can also add your own custom podcasts sources to Hourly News!

Is this app still supported every time I open it it crashes using the iPhone 15?
My morning "Go to" App.
I’m so glad this app exists! Have used it for over 5 years.
Useful app, but: ‘updates’ that disable existing features, & spontaneous playback at awkward times.
A recent update to the app introduced a change that may disappoint longtime users. A key feature — adding custom news sources — now costs $1 per custom source you want to add. This feature had been free until the update. Also, the app sometimes starts playing spontaneously in the background, e.g., during an important meeting or while you’re asleep. To prevent this, force-quit the app when you’re done using it.
No longer works!
It WAS a great app - now it’s just a waste of time. Will not load, will not stay connected used it daily for years - now searching for something else. Any suggestions for a replacement?
Won’t work on iPhone 8 iOS 16.7.8 !
App shuts down immediately. Won’t play at all.
Great app - 5 stars (until it broke)
I used it every morning. Unfortunately it stopped working on iPad with the newest release. Please update!
