It has been a few years since the app was launched and it still lacks the feature of NOTIFICATIONS when they make changes to their bookings such as cancelling, skipping or modifying. I am frustrated with the lack of attention given to technical issues by the tech team, as they seem to be prioritizing the design of the app over ensuring that it runs smoothly. What is the point of contacting the tech team if they are not going to address the technical issues that are affecting the app's functionality? There are two apps available on the app store. These apps are mainly used by housekeepers who rely on them heavily in comparison to the customers who have the option to use them via desktop. Interestingly, the housekeepers face issues with notifications as we need to stay in constant contact. The app charges weekly fees for maintenance, however, the "notifications" feature has not been improved for over two years. I have mentioned this issue many times but it remains unresolved. Surprisingly, the app has not updated this feature as practically every app has notifications nowadays. It almost seems like a strategy to generate more revenue from fines, which is why the support team is unhelpful deliberately. Both the support and tech teams suggested checking the app daily for the schedule, which is quite time-consuming. It appears that the "tech team" consists of only one person and they are not very responsive. Their replies are few and far between, often taking months to receive, and they only promise to work on the issues (NEVER). Instead of focusing on developing and fixing technical issues, the team seems to be more concerned with design updates. They frequently send design mockups for feedback, but users are more concerned with the app functioning properly rather than having a good design. I would not even mind if the app's design was outdated, as long as it works well. The app is linked to Zendesk for the support team, which seems to be quite organized. However, the application itself is extremely slow and unresponsive, which is not only affecting the housekeepers but also the customers. It's quite confusing where the administration fees are being utilized, as it appears that every department is only doing the bare minimum and making easy money working remotely. Meanwhile, the housekeepers are putting in a lot of effort and the customers are not receiving the quality service they deserve. Recently, there have been reports of housekeepers being removed fr

Upon looking at the reviews, the same issue is persistent for three years now. We pay £5 a week for the app and other things however the app logs you out and there are still no notifications when a customer cancels or when a 24 hour job is assigned to you. Please upgrade the systems.

I’m reporting this company, they advertise jobs I had to download the app and send over a lot of my personal information only for them to email me shortly after saying this role isn’t suited for me or something like that….. very shady after collecting my information. Be careful people.

Yo! I just fail the interview cause they said I’m not prepared for this work cause I got no experience. I’m 19 how can I have experience in anything? I’m not looking for this job cause this was my dream as a kid. I’m looking for this job cause I need the money and you need the staff. But I’m not working for this company anyways cause they think I cannot clean a house or anything. Haha it must be a joke!

When I found out about housekeep it seemed like the perfect job, but after 4 months I regret ever joining. Most customers are rude and will be polite in person then leave an awful review despite saying they were happy with the clean and didn’t want anything else done. To be fair housekeep can’t do anything about this but it made working for them an awful experience, especially since they recommended I work in an area very far away and ended up losing more money than I was earning on travel expenses. Only using recent reviews as the current cleaners review is a terrible idea as customers will rarely leave a review, so if you get one bad one it will make you seem like a terrible cleaner, despite only having one problem with the clean. As well as this, there is an option to receive a call from housekeep support to help with a clean (which is supposed to take leas than an hour), but after using this several times i have only ever received a call once which was 6 hours later. There is also very little checks done in order to work for this company so literally anyone could work for them, so I understand the low rating on the customer app. If you are thinking of working here I would recommend applying for hotels or one permanent place instead.
